After reaching Gold III for the first time at the end of last season I was concerned that I would struggle to gain daily and EOS chests this season. While my overall chest did decline, I found the payouts to be better. Could be dumb RNG luck and could just be more difficult to compare the two seasons with the change from DEC to SPS rewards 🤷‍♂

38 total chest, a significant drop in total EOS chests, but with the bump in tier to gold I was curious to see how the rewards compared. I wasn't let down, i was thrilled with the contents. The SPS alone was a nice haul, and the string of rare cards was a nice boost. I ended up with 10 less cards this season, but thanks to a GF rare and three other GFs I ended up with a greater CP boost. The going was tougher on the dailies, but I think I am sold on working my way up to gold again next season. I didn't earn any new Chaos packs this season. With the plethora of potions I opened this season that was a bit disappointing, but hopefully more will come.

I was thrilled to be able to check the goal off this season, but I still have some work to do to make the level up pay off.

✅ 1️⃣ Level up Kelya to level four

I am having a blast with my upgraded Death splinter team and it is quickly becoming one of my go to lineups for several different rulesets and mana caps.

Looking to Next Season

1️⃣ Level up the Water splinter to take advantage of my new level four Kelya

I was able to level up Kelya last season, but I didn't have the funds to upgrade the individual cards. Setting a goal to upgrade the splinter to take full advantage of a level four Kelya.

Taking down Yodin

It's always fun to beat Yodin, but even more fun when it is Riftwing for the win 😀 I am loving having Riftwing up to level 5 and making use of the Backfire ability.

Wrap Up

Gold is tough! I have a solid Silver deck, but I don't own a summoner above level four to take advantage of gold level abilities. I don't expect to be at that level for some time, but I'm still finding I'm able to compete at the lower levels of Gold 3 for now. The increased percentages of drops in Gold level chests seems to be worth the extra losses, but I'll keep a close eye on the trends.
