The Calzones hit the battlefield with some extra firepower

First Brawl that Gladius cards were an option!

🐲 Brawl Report 🐲

This is the first Brawl that I have had the option to use Gladius cards. I was extremly excited to get into choosing my teams so without further ado, here it goes...

Tarsa v Tarsa — First battle I was able to use Gladius cards and the mana cap was too low to make use of them 🤣 Thankfully I made the right call, I was up against a level one summoner and Disintegrator's debuff won the day Win (1—0)

Kelya v Thaddius — This was not my typical play using Scavo, but the Rise of the Commons ruleset and low mana count forced me to make some different decisions. Unfortunately Scavo's inability to do any damage was the deciding factor as he couldn't keep Diemonshark's armor going long enough. Loss (1—1)

Tarsa v Quix — First time I was able to play a Gladius card, but I was so excited to play one I wasn't paying attention to the ruelsets. No abilities takes away the fun part, Bloodlust. Quix's debuff crushed me. Loss (1—2)

Tarsa v Sloan — This is what I was waiting for. Not only did Chimney get Bloodlust going, but so did Grum! Win (2—2)

🎉🎉 Three and two, a winning record! 🎉🎉

A great showing for the Calzones! We were all excited to use Gladius cards and while it might not be a complete one to one correlation, this was our best finish since I have been a part of the guild. Just seeing Grum and Chimney go nuts in my last battle is proof enough for me that Gladius cards can change the battle landscape. Good things are coming for the Calzones!
