4th Brawl Report feat Hive Revolution! Rough Battles!

Hello dear Splinterlands and Hive community!

Silver First Quest(2).jpg

After missing a couple of Brawls Reports (lack of time, forgot to save links before the start of the next Brawl, having a massive losing streak), I'm back again with another Brawl report and trying to meet the deadlines at the last minute 😅

This would be my 4th Brawl Report Brawls with the Hive Revolution with @itzninjafool as our Guild Master Guild (and my 8th participation)

It's the Bronze League All Cards Fray with a total of 8 Participants!

I'm starting to adapt to the 3 rulesets per battle as it involves a lot of versatility in addition to facing many great opponents that we can always learn from them!

⚔️ Let's BRAWL ⚔️

1st Battle : LOSS

brawl1.PNG

Fog of War + Stampede

Starting with a loss it a big hit to our confidence and judgement, I've learned in my previous Brawl that putting a Dispel monster can break a Bloodlusted Monster.

In this battles I made a couple of mistakes:

  • Forcing myself to select a team with a Gladius Card (I can't pick Quora since it's banished)
  • Captain Kaitie strenght relies on Snipe
  • Picking Immortalis or Possibilus would lead to better outcome!

My opponent did play way by buffing Magic Damage + Playing Void Dragon with high Speed & Void

2nd Battle : WON

Are you not Entertained? + Equalizer + Divine Shield

Are you not Entertained? Ruleset! Of course this battle was Entertaining!

  • Placing 2 Gladius Cards!
  • Equalizer: Putting Alva The Crusher making her twice as harder to take down!
  • Divine Shield: Double Strike + Trample made my team break so many Divine Shields in a given Round!

Since it was an Equalizer Ruleset, All my Opportunity were focusing the Enemy frontliner, leading to toking it down pretty fast, I guess my opponent was expecting some sneak but damn Krash Wonderford with 8 Speed makes every sneak monster useless!

3rd Battle : WON

brawl3.PNG

Lost Legendaries + Tis but Scratches + Aim True

  • Lost Legendaries don't wanna see Oshannus 😩
  • Tis but Scratches: The more monsters you play, the better
    • Heals are less effective
    • Double Strike => Double Cripple
  • Aim True: Just play fast Melee & Ranged!

I've got a great team for this: A fast Sneak Melee Life Monsters w/ Ilthain for extra Speed and Return Fire to punish any upcoming archery damage which was the case in this battle!

(In Silver League, players tend to spam Sloan + Taunt + Ranged in Aim True Ruleset)

4th Battle : LOSS

brawl4.PNG

Going the Distance + Opportunity + Even Stevens

Not much to talk about in this mirror matchup, It was so annoying having such limited choices and even more annoying facing a leveled up Ajax Lightfoot that got bloodlust on its first hit! Return Fire wasn't enough to put a stop to its rampage and Bloodlust

Ajax Lightfoot is a decent pick in Going the Distance

5th Battle : WON

brawl5.PNG

Super Sneak + Return Fire + Equalizer

What a crazy oppressive team enemy got Drybone Raider + Tatiana Blayde! But I'll allow myself to make a few pointers:

  • Placing a low mana Meatshield followed by a Shield monster to absorb as much Sneak Damage as possible and letting my carry deal the Damage
  • Ninja Turtle Repair + Arkemis **
  • My enemy did NOT respect Return Fire* Ruleset, both Drybone Raider + Tatiana Blayde took a lot of free reflection Damage
  • Martyr is the last ability you wanna play in Equalizer

Im waiting for the day to upgrade my Coastal Sentry to level 6 and gain Piercing

6th Battle : WON

brawl6.PNG

Taking Sides + Litlle League + Scattershot

Alongside Back to Basics, Little league was never my forte and always struggle to pick the right team in contrast to my opponent who went for a solid team despite the limited choice.

Usually, I'm faced aginst a Fire team that got some of low mana high damage Melee but seems Hill Giant in front and Spirit Shaman in last position (Divine Shield will nullify a sneak attack) is a cool strategy!

7th Battle : WON

Melee Mayhem

The Final Battle, The Tiebreaker, finally ended up in a win and secure a POSITIVE winrate in this Brawl Participation!
A Ruleset in my favor allowing me to put Possibilus into action while buffing my Melee with Inspire and make you of the Trample
A slight modification on my team would be to put Diemonshark in place of Cruel Sethropod as enemy team both Gladius Monsters were too Strong!
That lucky Miss from Chinmey wallstop on Demented Shark Made me win the battle! Despite the battle being this close, I've got a favorable victory chance according to splintertools:

Brawl's Result

I was satisfied with my battles results and as you might notice, I didn't have to rely on Quora Towershed in this current Brawl. Moreover, it's always a pleasure to learn new strategies from our opponents!
My performance in this Fray is 4W-3L and got rewarded with 12.9 SPS + 875 Merits while getting the 2nd position among my guildmates 😁

Many seats are still open for our guild to take part in the upcoming Brawls without the obligation of donating/ mandatory participations as quoted here:

If you are looking for a laid back guild that is focused on allowing the players within our guild to have no real responsibilities within the guild, other than you play. Or, let us know if you cannot. If this sounds interesting, consider joining Hive Revolution Guild. We do not require donations towards the growth of buildings, but, is always recommended. The higher the guild buildings the better the benefits.

Lets all grow together

Forgot to mention that @itzninjafool reward us with SBT Tokens for each successful participation in every brawl:
