Since my first steps on Hive blockchain and posting contents journey, I've always been interested in tags and which ones are the most appropriate for every blog contents

I've been blindly following some of the posts figuring on the front page (and many did that for sure) and using the same tags hoping to get similar rewards but I soon discovered that I did something wrong

So yesterday I was lurking on 1UP discord and found this interesting conversation:

And I got myself an fascinating subject to discuss about the most suited Tags for gaming and the higher chances to NOT miss an upvote from @oneup-cartel

Oneup Tag

Important: Do NOT use #1up, it won't count as Oneup tag so be careful and use #oneup instead.

The tag that I'm using the most frequently and my biggest gain in term of upvotes and post rewards!

Oneup is related to blockchain gaming, basically every game related to Hive Blockchain like the ever popular Splinterlans, Axie Infinity, Farming Tales* etc...
There is always room for every writer to publish his progress on his favourite game, post some cool strategies, share some interesting battles etc

Oneup tag can be used in posts related to ONEUP Token, as an example, oneup liquidity pools on Diesel Pools and how to maximize your earrnings from posting, curating and providing liquidity.

If your post is up to the curators standards, you'll get an upvote from the curation cartel including oneup-curator

As you can see, oneup-curator is the Number 1 on the richlist, which means you'll get the highest possible upvote value (if voting at full power 100% that only Flauwy has the right to input this command).

Let's assume for a standard !1UP command, you'll get on average an upvote value at 300 ONEUP (150 ONEUP Author rewards)

SPT Tag

Important: This tag is specific to splinterlands, don't use it on another blockchain game

I got into Hive thanks to Splinterlands and I do believe most of you got in for the same reason.

Splinterlands is a complex and competitive game that you'll always find something to write about, if not you can take part on one of these challenges figuring on the splinterlands official account:

  By taking part in those challenges, you'll get upvoted by stemmonster for an additional juicy Hive upvote

If you didn't know, monster-curator is the biggest SPT curator with a delegated value at around $100'000 in SPT value and a part of Curation-Cartel.

So by triggering the !1UP command, you'll get an upvote from monster-curator too and you'll receive on average a vote value at 3300 SPT

THGaming Tag

The most recent project that I've been in so far and the subject of my last post evolving at a turbo speed.

2 days ago THG post curation was enabled, that's right! using the #thgaming tag will allow you to earn $THGAMING via upvotes as posted here and I'm very excited that I'll be accumulating $THG via blogging.

Hopefully, since the token is still at its early phase and not well-know, massive APR is expected for curation rewards as well as delegation.

Speaking of delegation, curation-cartel has already got @thg-curator ready for delegation and currently sitting on a massive 1.4M $THG

Don't forget that you can always put $THG into the liquidity for additional rewards at around 200% APR

General Tags

The tags where you can use in, lets say, every post and most importantly you won't get penalized for using them for different subjects.
My focus will be on the ones that are supported by the Curation Cartel

• #proofofbrain or #pob
• #hive-engine for BEE rewards
• #pimp is recently added to the curation cartel, the head of PIMP community did mention that they are "unbiased" as I quote from the 1UP discord channel:

• #vyb keep in mind that 100% of VYB rewards are staked and the unstaking is slightly different from other tokens
• #neoxag
• #cent not part of the Cartel but seems to be stabilizing on the 0.01$ for quite the time despite the Hive price fluctuations
