These last couple of weeks were pretty exciting for splinterlands with the release of Chaos Legion, Vouchers, rewards changes and the farm boost on Pancakeswap.

... as well as to launch a syrup pool which will allow users to stake CAKE tokens and earn SPS!

Before getting introduced to the splinterlands game and community, I was riding the wave on the DEFI ecosystem and believe me it was a crazy ride!

P.S.: Just before we start, all transactions use Metamask, so make to install it to get going.
P.P.S.: You need a small amount of BNB to pay the transaction fees (0.01BNB is plenty enough)

Visit pancakeswap pools

1. Click on Pool
2. The list is too long so type SPS in the search bar
3. Once it's shown up connect your wallet (using metamask here)

Before you can stake your Cake, you'll need to enable pool pay paying a small fee:

Confirm the transaction on the metamask wallet:

After waiting for a few seconds, you'll be finally able to add some cake to the pool by pressing the + button (I have already some cake staked):

Put your desired amount of cake to stake (max for more profits) then confirm

Congratulation! Now you're staking Cake and earning SPS at 48% APR

If I want to withdraw my SPS profits: Harvest SPS earned and confirm:

Now you got your SPS in your Binance smart chain wallet.

Transfert SPS to In-game splinterlands balance

If you want SPS in your in-game balance or to purchase chaos legion packs:

1. Go to SPS management in splinterlands.com
2. Click Transfert
   
   
   
3. Pick Binance Smart Chain
4. Transfert In
5. Pay the little Tx fees and the SPS will be in your in-game wallet after a minute or so!
   
   
   

I hope I made it clear on how to stake cake to earn SPS and if there are some questions please let me know in the comment so I can assist you the best I can!

Before ending there are a couple of informations you must know:

1. Always have some BNB in your wallet as you can't perform transactions without paying small BNB fees
2. The staking rewards ends in 58 days, so once a week, at least, take a look at the pool to see if it's still active and Harvest your SPS rewards.
