Hello splinterlanders! It's my first participation in the share your battle weekly challenge for this week! (I hope I can do a second one this week too)

The theme is HAUNTED SPIDER so until I get a good game to share , I'll publish this match that I thaught I'll lose for sure where Torhilo the Frozen is the MVP!

Opponent history

Enemy mainly summon his favourite pick: Djinn Oshannus in the last couple of matches and he seems to play a mixture of fire and death deck probably when Water is out
Since water is available, there is a high probability he'll go for Oshannus and mages cards!

My reasons for this choice:

• Lower the damage of enemy mages, especially Oshannus
• Playing Torhilo
• Enemy expecting I'll play Alric (last 3 matches playing it), the Right time for a change.

The min Force and defender of this composition:

• Void reduces magic damage by 1, combined with Bortus -1 Magic => Mages with 1 magic damage will tickle El Toro
• 8 Health Enough to tank Oshannus hits with only 1 magic damage and in addition to,
• 4 armor enough to tank other melee/ranged attacks
• 4 damage None should stand in his way!

Second Position

Crustacean King

If all enemy composition is magic damage, with torhilo as a Tank and with heal from Crustacean, this comp will be invinsible against magic dealers with the exception of Ruler of the Seas and Coral Wraith

Third Position

Venari Wavesmith

The Alfpha Rat, the most popular among the Venaris!

He won't deal damage to Oshannus (he got Void too) with only 1 damage

but Fortify: +2 Armor comes always useful against sneak, opportunists and snipes

Fourth Position

Ice Pixie

To be honest, I'm not too convinced with this pick as I should've picked a *ranged monster* instead and Pixie won't benefit from Bortus buff.

Fifth and Sixth Position

My favourite ranged monster in last position:

• 2 damage and 4 speed making it the first to act and does a lot of damage
• 4 health is good
• Heal perfect against sneak as it keeps healing and making sneak attacks "useless"

Albatross as last pick to fill the 1 mana left.

#Round 1+2

Upon first seeing enemy comp, I felt I'm screwed and this is a loss, only Oshannus is magic damage dealer and 3 monsters ranged + Snipe in addition to crustacean king will be healing the front tank... On the bright side, enemy went Bortus so Oshannus won't be a thread at all!
Let's see what'll happen:

#Round 3

Not looking good, already lost my crustacean king and Venari left with 1 Health.
Venari no longer being an Alpha and Pixie showering enemy with weak magic.
Water element brillantly missing Oshannus (why does he have 5 speed ??) and the damage he gets got healed by his healer...

• Venari Wavesmith RIP
• Ice Pixie RIP
• Water Element was brave till the end and fought with his heal but RIP
• Wait forgot about Albatross who's watching the bloodbath...

Round 5-10

Albatross is down and Torhillo is 1v5:

• Oshannus for the FIRST KILL
• Mantoid for a DOUBLE KILL
• Sniping Narwhal for a TRIPLE KILL
• Pirate Captain for a QUADRA KILL
• King not giving up easily with Heal but ends up dead for a PENTAKILL

  I hope you've enjoyed this match as much as I did as it was a really exciting win for me. Torhillo is still great even against non magic monster and this match is a great proof of it, maybe I'll consider buying it instead of just renting or wait till after Chaos legion. Have fun!
