Thank you for all the help - I raised 80/2000 Hive... So let's keep it going! Read - Upvote - Reblog and send me to Splinterfest!
As I posted in my previous Blog, I am raising funds via Upvotes for Splinterfest π
Through Upvotes I managed to raise roughly 40 Hive total, so 20 for me and 20 for the Upvoters
I wanted to take a moment before work to thank everyone who Upvoted but I especially wanted to thank those who sent very unexpected Tips!
@vettev sent a whopping 50 Hive tip! Holy cow bro, thank you so much and congrats on the new addition to the family!
@honey-swap tossed in a MONSTER Upvote of 27 Hive and threw in a 6.9 Hive Tip! Thank you to whomever controls that account (I think I know who it is but could be wrong)
@popsiclezone tossed over 2 Hive as support and I appreciate that very much!
@maddog-2020 my guildmate and fellow Brawler not only helps me crush all who stand before us in the frays... but tipped a Hive to help a brother out!
For some of us, 2,000 Hive isn't much - for some whale accounts it would only be a few upvotes! However, for those of us like me, maddog, popsicle - even 1 or 2 Hive can be a lot!!
I appreciate you guys so much and I just wanted to share my thanks!
I wanted to share my thought process on this crowdfunding below, because a few people had brought up that the funds wouldn't be released in time.
The way it works for me is simple: I budget about $100 per week to buy Crypto. I Uber at nights on the weekend to do this.
I use the money I earn from it to:
- Meet a Savings Goal
- Pay off Debt
- Buy Crypto
I realized Hive Engine is the PERFECT Crowdfunding Platform because I could use Upvotes to generate Crypto for me (AND THE UPVOTER)β¦ Then, I could reduce my weekly Crypto budget and use that money for Splinterfest!
That way, I have the liquid capital and get the Crypto I would have bought anyway and it doesn't cost anyone anything out of pocket!
My first post is here for anyone interested :)
