I apologize for the wait, I've been working extra so I can purchase more CL packs like a FUCKING IMBECILE...

Before we go into todays hilarious rant - I ain't even mad anymore bro... don't even trip dawg...

Let's have a quick recap as to why I lost my shit a week or so ago...

Here's the synopsis:

I purchased 3,300 CL Packs in the hopes of getting a few GFL Airdrops... As of the writing of my previous post... Despite the stated odds of "4% Chance of Foil"... I was at 1/53 or 1.88% 😡

Less than HALF of what I "should" have... while people, like my guildies, who bought ~300 packs... GOT A GFL GRUM... Giving them a total of TWO GFLs from airdrops... WTAF?!?!

Since then, we have had another Airdrop - the Spirit Hoarder

I didn't even want to begin to HOPE that I MIGHT get a GFL Spirit Hoarder drop... because... ya know... STATISTICS.

The moment comes, 7m packs are sold... Spirit Hoarder is... Nowhere to be found 🤡

Apparently, the Splinterlands team had to go catch them and wrangle them all into the C130 manually, so that way they could be airdropped.

The discord blew up with the "WHEN AIRDROP 😒". I popped in for a bit and stayed for awhile, chatting with a few people but I laughed as I saw the channel bombarded by repeated "WHEN AIRDROP?!?", ad nauseum.

The mods did a fantastic job keeping it to a minimum and being polite about it - the GIFs were hilarious though.

At this point, I had to observe and compare myself to the masses:

I was upset about not getting a GFL due to the shitty drop rate 1.88% vs 4%...

They were upset about a delay in getting something guaranteed...

Ok, I may be a whiny bitch... but at least I'm not THAT whiny lmaoooooooooo

Skip ahead about 48h and the Spirit Hoarder is unlocked...

This Airdrop was going to be at the 1/350 Packs Guarantee rate and for the 3,300 packs I purchased, I should get 9 Spirit Hoarders...

I think to myself... "maybe this is the redemption"...

So here I am... sitting in my bed, staring at my laptop... I can't bring myself to click "Check Airdrop" as I have already had such shitty luck...

My gf is getting ready for work and I beckon to her "HEY BABE! C'MERE..."

She pops her head in the bedroom and is like "Wut..."

I say "Hey... I need you to check this airdrop for me... like when we open packs... but different... just click here..."

I get the obligatory eye roll

But she comes over and helps me check my airdrop...

Maybe this time it's different...
Maybe this time I'll get a GFL...
Maybe this time she's got good jujuu...

I whimsically stare off into the distance as I think these things

A solemn "Sorry babe..." snaps me back to reality

She turns the laptop back towards me and I see:

"10 Spirit Hoarders, 0 Foil Spirit Hoarders"

So here I float, alone, in the vastness of the Universe, suspended in the eternity that is but a fleeting moment...

I force a smile, "That's. Ok. Babe... I'm. Not. Even. Mad... It's. Funny. At. This. Point... HA. HA. HAHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhh..."

So here I am, 63 Airdropped cards deep with one GFL to show for it...

That's 1/63 or 1.58% Actual GFL vs the BULLSHIT FUCKING FOUR PERCENT STATED...

Now... I know the smolbrainz out there are all "bE hApPy YoU gOt SoMeThInG"... to which I would like to say again:

It's total BS that RNG can absolutely SHIT ON someone... while rewarding those who barely contribute.

There should have been a "If you make a purchase of 2400 packs or more, you're guaranteed 1 of each GFL" or something like that...

If the GFL's were 2-3x the value of the regular... well... that'd be one thing... but they're not... they're 10x+ the value.

That means someone who buys 1 pack or 100... or 300... and got 1 GFL Grum... received a better, more valuable reward than someone who bought 3,300 packs...

Tell me: HOW DOES THIS INCENTIVIZE THE LARGE PURCHASE????

I haven't heard any decent justification yet, I'm still waiting... and I'm slightly less salty... but I've still got a high enough sodium content to send someone's BP into stage 4 hypertension 😅

I haven't posted much lately or been on Discord very often due to the extra work I'm doing...

So I can make ANOTHER bulk pack purchase with my buddy... LIKE FUCKING IDIOT so I can try to get a few extra airdrops and hopefully... 🙄... another GFL or Three...

Because I do believe in this game, I do believe in NFT Gaming and most importantly - I believe in YOU... the Splinterlands Community...

Not only do I believe in it... but I hold lots of SPS, DEC, Packs, Cards and continue to accumulate it despite the dropping prices (thankful for them)...

I watched everything decline, kept buying more and I just want some GFL Airdrop love at the 4% rate I was told we'd get... nothing more... nothing less... SO MAKE THIS HAPPEN SPLINTERGODS 😡🤣

I should hopefully be up to 4,000 Packs purchased by the time the next card drops... not that it will do any fucking good lmaoooooooooooooo

I'll update the Salty Saga after the next card drops... perhaps with good news this time :P
