Schon ist wieder ein Monat vergangen und mit dem 01. Juni steht der nächste HPUD an. Zwischenzeitlich hat sich einiges getan und ich habe Mitte des Monats die 100 Hive-Power Marke geknackt.

Im vergangenen Monat erlebten die Finanzmärkte, nach kurzzeitigen Erholungsanzeichen im April, weitere Korrekturen. Der Markt für Kryptowährungen war da keine Ausnahme, ganz im Gegenteil. Das grosse Ereignis war sicherlich der Total-Crash des Luna Coins bzw. des Stablecoins TerraUSD.

Der algorithmische Stablecoin TerraUSD verlor seine Anbindung zum USD, daraufhin setzte sich ein Teufelskreis in Gang. Der LUNA-Coin fiel indes von etwas über 80 $ auf den Bruchteil eines Cents. Für die Anleger ein Totalverlust, Worst-Case also.

Solch enorme Verwerfungen sind selbst am hochvolatilen Kryptomarkt nicht an der Tagesordnung, aber sie zeigen, dass diese Anlageklasse eben zu Recht als Hochrisiko-Anlage gilt. Glücklicherweise hielt ich selbst weder TerraUSD noch LUNA, aber ich habe etwas HIVE wenige HBD und ich fragte mich dann, ob so ein Szenario auch im Kontext von HIVE denkbar wäre?

Ich habe darauf keine abschließende Antwort, aber ich glaube es wäre grundsätzlich möglich. Wie wahrscheinlich so etwas ist, ist eine andere Frage.
Da ich bisher eher wenig HIVE gekauft habe und mein Account relativ klein ist, ist mein Risiko hier überschaubar und ich bin optimistisch, dass es bei HIVE nicht zu einem solchen Zusammenbruch kommt.

Wachstum

Weil ich zuversichtlich bin, was die langfristige Entwicklung von Krypto-Währungen angeht, habe ich den Taucher genutzt um erneut etwas flüssige Fiat-Mittel in Kryptowährungen umzulegen.
Was habe ich gekauft?

Ich habe meine BTC Position ausgeweitet und etwas HIVE und SPS hinzu gekauft. So habe ich dann Anfang Mai einen kleinen Powerup mit 26 HIVE gemacht, um die 100 HP voll zu haben.

Mit der Entwicklung meines HIVE-Accounts bin ich zufrieden, zum Zeitpunkt des Schreibens dieses Beitrags beträgt meine HIVE-Power 158.629.

Weitere 12 HP kommen heute zum Power-Up-Day hinzu, macht rund 170 HP nach etwa 2 Monaten.

SPS

Meine SPS-Position ist mit den jüngsten Zukäufen auf rund 13'000 SPS angewachsen. Zur Zeit sind nahezu 100 % davon gestaked. Ich möchte bis zur kommenden Mini-Erweiterung Riftwatchers so viele Voucher wie möglich halten. Weiter bin ich sehr gespannt wie sich das nahende Ende des SPS-Airdrops und die Änderungen im Rewardsystem auf die Ökonomie von Splinterlands auswirken werden.

Ziele?

Ziele sind für mich ein schwieriges Thema. Nicht weil ich noch nie eines gehabt hätte, sondern weil ich mir für gewöhnlich keine Ziele setzte. Warum? Nun zum einen glaube ich nicht, dass ich glücklich damit würde von einem Ziel zum nächsten zu jagen, zum Anderen ziehe ich es vor mein Leben zu leben, anstatt es zu planen.

Insofern kann und will ich hier bewusst keine quantitativen Ziele formulieren.
In den vergangenen Wochen habe ich so etwas wie einen Rhythmus gefunden und das veröffentlichen von Beiträgen macht mir grossen Spass.
Also setze ich mir hier ein qualitatives Ziel für HIVE:

Kreiere, solange es dir Spass macht, weiter Inhalte!

Pünktlich zum nächsten HPUD am 01.07.2022 werde ich prüfen ob ich noch auf Kurs bin 😁

Lets power up!

Another month has passed and the next HPUD is coming up on June 01. In the meantime, a lot has happened and I have cracked the 100 hive power mark in the middle of the month.

Last month, after brief signs of recovery in April, the financial markets experienced further corrections. The cryptocurrency market was no exception, quite the opposite. The big event was certainly the total crash of the Luna Coin and the TerraUSD stablecoin, respectively.

The algorithmic stablecoin TerraUSD lost its peg to the USD, whereupon a downward vicious circle was set in motion. Meanwhile, the LUNA Coin fell from just over $80 to a fraction of a cent. For investors, a total loss, worst case scenario.

Such enormous upheavals are not common even in the highly volatile crypto market, but they show that this asset class is rightly considered a high-risk investment. Fortunately, I did not hold TerraUSD or LUNA myself, but I have some HIVE few HBD and I then wondered if such a scenario would be possible in the context of HIVE?

I don't have a final answer to that, but I think it would be possible in theory. How likely something like this is is another question.
Since I have bought rather little HIVE so far and my account is relatively small, my risk here is manageable and I am optimistic that such a collapse will not happen with HIVE.

Growth

Because I'm confident about the long-term performance of cryptocurrencies, I used the dip to once again shift some liquid fiat funds into cryptocurrencies.
What did I buy?

I expanded my BTC position and added some HIVE and SPS. So I then did a small powerup with 26 HIVE at the beginning of May to have the 100 HP full.

I am happy with the development of my HIVE account, at the time of writing this post my HIVE power is 158,629.

Another 12 HP added today for power-up day, makes about 170 HP after about 2 months.

SPS

My SPS position has grown to around 13,000 SPS with the recent purchases. At the moment almost 100% of them are staked. I would like to hold as many vouchers as possible until the upcoming mini-expansion Riftwatchers. Furthermore, I am very curious how the approaching end of the SPS airdrop and the changes in the rewards system will affect the economy of Splinterlands.

Goals?

Goals are a difficult topic for me. Not because I've never had one, but because I don't usually set goals. Why is that? Well, for one thing, I don't think I'd be happy chasing from one goal to the next, and for another, I prefer to live my life rather than plan it.

So I can't and don't want to formulate quantitative goals here.
In the past weeks I have found something like a rhythm and publishing articles is a lot of fun for me.
So I set myself a qualitative goal for HIVE here:
