A late end of season showing, and a cheers to the Hive Family.
Days later and im compelled to do an End of Season Post in Splinterlands. Its been a busy week at work and im thankful to have the attention of my favorite people on Hive as well as some new people. Picking my brain for a post, and this is the choice.
End of Season
Ended the season with 57 chests which is pretty monster but of course all the possibilities exist and it was a mixed bag of treats and maybe some tricks inside. Lets see what prizes await.
A healthy amount of potions (dam you)
A Djinn Biljka (always cool with me)
A healthy stack of SPS (above 20 i believe)
A few Rares including a Bonesmith (what a bone)
An assortment of Pelacor (the ol Circus), Skulls, Merdhampir, and Blood Makers. Couple Venari as well (Heatsmith and Wavesmith)
Small Stashes of Merits as well.
So all in all not too bad. Been wishing for more gold cards as thats always the sweetest prize, or huge pot of SPS. Think i have a Chaos Pack that i have unopened now that i think about it. Its a surprise so let me open and see whats inside.
Well, a Time Mage and an Epic Grund. Man, so close to getting a Gold on these two, wouldve been a sweet addition to the collection for sure. High level Grund is an absolute beast that has smashed me many times.
Im jammin some Disturbed as you see the album on screen. Some good jams and got bunch of work to finish up.
Will keep this short here, and if anyones eyes have made it here, just want to say thanks and Rock On.

Congratulations for the Legendary Djinn Djinn Biljka, and for the Epic Grund too. I have not even heard about the latter so far. The last time I played the Wild Ranked was 29 days ago. The last time I played The Modern Ranked was probably more than one month ago. Splinterlands is not even showing that.
Nowadays I am leasing out my cards, but I do not know for how long. The income became so low that it is not worth it. I started to sell Dark Energy Crystals (DEC), and putting the money into Hive Dollar (HBD) savings. Maybe a little more to the SWAP.HIVE:SPS liquidity pool. But I do not want to risk bigger amount. I currently have $0.80 USD in it, so less than $1 USD (0.788 SWAP.HIVE and 5.571 SPS).

This is true. Splinterlands became the game of the rich in the recent past. With a $200 USD Splinterlands card collection, I mostly went into the Bronze I League. Rarely into the Silver III League, if I was lucky. People need a Splinterlands card collection worth thousands of dollars to go into the higher leagues.

It's not a bad reward pull because the legendary card is at least worth something. It's all based on luck and I always try to hope for those chaos legion packs or legendaries.

Thanks Joe, surprising it gets to that number of chests. For some reason i love the Biljka, looks like a swamp creature and love that camoflauge ability. Ive legit thought about getting a Doctor Blight, seems to give me a fresh whooping when i see him....hmmm.

Damn so many potions up in the gold league, I really expect better rewards than that not going to lie. That seems quite lack lustre for all the work/grind you put in. At least you got the legendary pull to somewhat make up for some short comings but damn those potion drops suck sorry brother
Hopefully next season is better but its been more or less the same for me I ain't had the time to grind out SPL like I used to so my Silver rewards went from like 50-60 EoS chests to about 20 if I'm lucky and of course all of them we're minimum SPS drops or potions lol, zzzzz
