Some of my favorite older cards in collection, and trying to update on newest cards.
Splinterlands is one of my favorite games, and what a complex situation it has been for me. I learned a lot along the way, about crypto, about NFT, and about how Hive works as well. Theres no easy way to swallow buying some cards at higher prices, and many Chaos packs at $3.00 each, but somehow over time, if things balance out, ill be ok.
I can say, i do appreciate what the Splinterlands team has accomplished. The artwork, the gameplay, updates, etc. The game has seen updates, i like the new background, the music atmosphere they have implemented, and the future seems solid as well.
There are some cards that are a bit nostalgic to me. They remind me of 2022 which seems a while ago already. Back when buying cards with crypto was such a new, intriguing idea.
MY FAVORITE CARDS
Might as well start off with what i believe was 1 of my first cards ever purchased. Looked so cool, and still love when i get to use this card.
The Diamond Dragon. Unfortunately its pretty low level, as i never got more copies. With a massive shield, flying ability, and slow down ability, I'd say its pretty useful, even at this low level.
The Phantom Soldier
A card i always liked, looks like such a beast. The unique border/frame of the alpha/beta cards, the fact its a Gold cardsl, sheesh, what a beauty. Still quite useful, powerful, wish i can upgrade it further but its gonna be pricey to do so.
With Flying, and Silence ability, its helped win some battles for sure.
Kron the Undying
Ahhhh, good ol Kron. What a cool card. The famous setup with the Llama Summoner card. A nearly invincible combo. On its own though, Kron is still pretty powerful in the right situation. I dont have a super high level, just level 1, but since its a legendary card, its got good stats.
Byzantine Kitty
Oh how i love this card. Speed and healing summoner, how cool. Just wish i didnt buy it for soooo much. At the time, oh my, maybe more than 500...ouch. i keep it, maybe will decide to upgrade to at least level 2. I know @libertycrypto27 likes this card too, so we are Byzantine Brothers lol. And while im out here mentioning beasts, lemme shout out the other Byzantine brother, @rentmoney. So if you dont have a follow for these 2 brothers, i would say....DO IT.
Newer Reward Cards
With new updates to rewards, and buying chests in the shop, in starting to accumulate some new cards. I just got 10 Legend chests today, but bad luck and hardly got anything cool, just common cards, not a single rare, epic, or Legend. Oh well, tis how the cookie crumbles.
So we got....the Ironwing Juggernaut, Husk of the Hunter, and the CoralForged. Cool new additions, looking forward to BETTER LUCK THOUGH....PLEASE.

I miss playing Splinterlands bro, Byzantine Kitty is a super summoner card, its never an easy fight against it.
And Phantom Soldier is one of my favorites, very useful.

Those old cards brings up memories. It's kind of amazing to see how things have changed, and Byzantine Kitty was amazing as a card. Kron was also quite amazing because of that heal.

Splinter has changed a lot, but I stopped playing a few months ago and I don't think I'll be coming back. I've decided to use my time for other things, both on Hive and outside of it, but it's clear that they've improved a lot.
Yes my friend, I feel you. Takes a lot of time to play and use energy every day. I have had to slow down as well, but moderation is the key sometimes. Keep rockin.

It's a lot to understand, and best to take it slow. Grow your account, and interest helps it to keep growing. Now might be low prices, could go lower too, hard to say, I want more Hive power. Thanks for rockin with me.
