BATTLE MAGE SECRETS ARMORED UP

I'd like to share a Conqueror Jacek game on an ARMORED UP ruleset.

ARMORED UP weekly challenge

Choose summoners or abilities that could optimize/reduce the additional armor given such as Void Armor, Shatter, Rust, Protect, Resurrect.

Lost Magic
Taking Sides
Armored Up

Mana Cap: 60
Elements: Fire, Earth, Life

Game Modifications


This is an Lost Magic ruleset game so Monsters with Magic attack may not be used in this battle.

This is a Taking Sides ruleset game so Neutral Monsters may not be used in this battle.

This is an Armored Up ruleset game so all Monsters have 2 Armor in addition to their normal Armor stat.

Summoner: Conqueror Jacek

Abilities:
All friendly monsters gain +2 speed
All friendly monsters gain these abilities:
Piercing - If attack damage is in excess of the target's Armor, the remainder will damage the target's Health
Scattershot - Ranged attack monsters will hit a random enemy target.

  • This also applies to Magic monsters, but since this is Lost Magic ruleset, only Ranged attack monsters will utilize the effect of this ability.

Conqueror Jacek

Pos 1 Monster: Exploding Rats

Abilities:
Blast - Does additional damage (equivalent to main damage divided by 2, rounded up) to Monsters adjacent to the target

Redemption - When an Exploding rat dies, it deals 1 damage to all enemy monsters

  • this ability does not work well with ARMORED UP ruleset since its damage goes to enemy's armor first before health.

I chose Exploding Rats position 1 due to its high speed. Since there's no magic damage to kill it instantly, Exploding Rats can evade a lot of Melee and Ranged attacks due to its high speed alone. You can see this in action when you watch the battle.

Pos 2 Monster: Molten Ash Golem

Abilities:
Close Range - Molten Ash Golem can perform ranged attacks from the first position

Weaken - Reduces the Health of all enemy Monsters by -1, except when health is already at 1.

Pos 3 Monster: Tenyii Striker

Abilities:
Sneak - Targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster

Dodge - Has +25% increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks.

Pos 4 Monster: Countess Sinash

Abilities:
Opportunity - This ability is useless here since Scattershot has a Higher Priority vs Opportunity

Camouflage - She hides well she cannot be targeted for attacks unless she's in the first position
Swiftness - All friendly Monsters have +1 Speed
Affliction - When she hits a target, she has a 50% chance of applying Affliction on the target causing it to be unhealable.

Pos 5 Monster: Pyromaniac

Abilities:
Sneak - Targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster

Blast - Does additional damage (equivalent to main damage divided by 2, rounded up) to Monsters adjacent to the target

Pos 6 Monster: Fire Demon

Abilities:
Blast - Does additional damage (equivalent to main damage divided by 2, rounded up) to Monsters adjacent to the target.
