My splinterlands battle post for the Battle Mage Secret Weekly Challenge.

Wands Out is the ruleset for this week's Battle Mage Secrets weekly challenge. I can play very well with the Wands Out ruleset. It's not that challenging for me. We can only use magic monsters with the Wands Out ruleset, so it's necessary to choose summoners and monsters that can perform well against magic attacks. To counter magic attacks by enemy monsters, we should use monsters with void, phase, and magic reflect abilities. I think this ruleset is easier for me as I like to play battles using magic monsters. Sometimes we do have to use monsters with mixed attack or single attack types. Here, we can use only magic monsters so we have to keep in mind that the battle lineup should be effective against magic monsters.

Battle Challenge Rulset

Wands Out

Ruleset: Wands Out

  • Wands Out: We can use only magic monsters with the Wands Out ruleset.

Mana cap: 47
Splinters: Earth, Life, Death, Dragon

My Strategy For The Battle

The total mana for this battle is 47, that mana is much higher and it's sufficient to use good monsters in our battle lineup. Some people like battles with low mana, but I like to play battles with higher mana where I can show my skills more effectively. Because of the Wands Out ruleset, my strategy is to keep monsters with either void or magic reflect ability at the first position in my battle lineup. I think I may not use a monster with the Tank Heal ability instead, I would prefer a monster with the Swiftness ability.

Obsidian (Earth Summoner)
I preferred to use Earth Splinter for this battle. I used Obsidian Summoner because of the Wands Out ruleset. Because this summoner will give one extra magic attack to magic monsters in our battle lineup. I used an Obsidian summoner level 4 gold card in this battle.

1. Prismatic Energy (Level 4 card)
I intentionally used the Prismatic Energy monster in the first position of my battle lineup as it has a magic reflect ability which is very effective against magic monsters. This monster costs 8 mana, The stats of this monster are quite well according to its mana cost. It has 10 health, 2 magic attacks, and 4 speed which is much better.

2. Regal Peryton (Level 4 card)
I like the Regal Peryton monster because of its high speed and strong magic attack. Also, this monster has a flying ability which is somehow useful to defend against attacks. I put this monster in the second position because of its great stats.

3. Spirit Miner (Level 2)
I put Spirit Miner monster in the third position as I planned. I really wanted to use Monster with swiftness ability, so this one is the best option for me. Spirti Miner monster costs 6 mana. It has 2 magic attacks, 3 speed, and 6 health. Along with swiftness, it has Dodge ability which is very useful to defend against attacks.

4. Magi Sphinx (Level 3)
I used Magi Sphins monsters at the fourth position only because of their stronger magic attack. It costs only 5 mana. Magi Sphinx is an epic neutral monster. Here I used a level 3 Magic Sphinx monster which has 3 magic attacks, 3 speed, and 4 health.

5. Magi Of Chaos (Level 3)
I put Magi of Chaos magic monster at the fifth position. This one is epic monster and it costs 6 mana. One of the best magic monster with stronger attack. Here I used level 3 card of Magi of Chaos monster in the battle.

6. Mycelic Slipspawn (level 2)
I put this monster on the sixth position because of its Taunt ability. Another reason to put this monster on last position was its 11 health which is too good and give some defense to my battle lineup from back side. Mycelic Slipspawn is a rare earth monster. It has good magic attack too which will help me in the battle. I will upgrade this monster to level 4 as this monster is much good and highly useful.

If we see at opponents battle lineup then its clearly seems that his strategy is to use gladiator card with respective summoner for stronger attack. My opponent used Quora Towershead monster at first position which has strong attack and heal ability. In addition to that they used Goblin Phsychic with tank heal ability which useful to heal first monster in the battle lineup. I think my battle lineup is much stronger as compared to my opponents lets see how the battle goes.

In the first round, my monsters got one extra magic attack and speed is reduced by one because of respective summoner from both side. My oppoents used one gladiator cards which seems dangerous. After some time my monster killed opponents third monster and not a single monster got damage from my side till now.

In the second round, my Prismatic Energy monster killed oppoenets first monster. Later my monsters started killing opponents monster one by one. My monsters got damage too but not single monster died yet.

In the third round, opponents only two monster was alive. But at very start of this round my monster killed opponents Goblin Psychic monster. Now my victory seems certain. The opponents last monster died soon and my all monsters are still alive. That kind of achievement for me as my all monsters are alive at the end of the battle.

In the end, I won the battle easily. ✌️

Conclusion

I made proper plan and made somehow much better battle lineup for the battle with Wands Out ruleset. I put stronger magic monster, aslo used Prismatic Energy monster at the first position which has magic reflect ability. All this gave me advantage in the battle and won the battle easily.
