My splinterlands battle post for the Battle Mage Secret Weekly Challenge.

Lost Magic is the ruleset for this week's Battle Mage Secrets weekly challenge. We cant use a monster with a magic attack if there is a Lost Magic ruleset for the battle. It's not easy to win with this rulest, we need a stronger melee or ranged attack monster. Also, splinters are important to win battles. Sometimes we don't get the splinter that we like to play with. I am usually not comfortable with this ruleset, because I like to use magic monsters in my battle lineup. But it's all ok, we need to face all the rulesets while playing battles. Still, I always get difficulty winning with the Lost Magic ruleset.

Ruleset: Up to Eleven, Lost Magic

• Up to Eleven: All monsters will get amplify ability. Amplify ability increases Magic Reflect, Return Fire, and Thorn damage to enemy monsters by one damage.
• Lost Magic: Magic monsters cant be used in the battle.

Mana cap: 32
Splinters: Fire, Earth, Life, Death, Dragon

My Strategy For The Battle

The total mana for the battle is 32 and I got many splinter options for the battle. Also, the rulesets are Up to Eleven and Lost Magic. So, I can't use magic monsters. Hence, I decided to go with Dragon Splinter. My strategy is to use Monsters with thorn ability for defense in the first position and will try to use stronger melee attack monsters in the battle lineup. Also, I will avoid using ranged attack monsters for this battle lineup. Also, I will use some monsters with opportunity ability. I have good monsters with opportunity ability in the Earth splinter, hence I will select Earth dragon splinter with Earth monsters.

Daria Dragonscale (Dragon Summoner)
This is my favorite dragon summoner and I mostly use this summoner for the battle if there are fewer options to choose splinter. Daria Dragonscale summoners give one extra melee attack to all melee monsters in our battle lineup. Because of the ruleset, I can't use magic monsters, so I am definitely going to use melee monsters and for that, this summoner is the best option for me.

1. Djinn Chwala (Level 3 card)
Djinn Chwala is epic dragon monster. As I need a stronger melee monster with thorn ability in the first position as I made my strategy, this one is the best choice for that. This monster costs 8 mana. It has 3 melee attacks, 2 speed, 6 armor, and 10 health. It has good armor and high health, so it can provide a good defense to our battle lineup. In addition to that it has thorn ability which makes this one much stronger.

2. Twilight Basilisk (Level 2 card)
I used Twilight Basilisk in the second position because of its Reach ability. So, this melee monster can attack from the second position. This monster has a strong attack and costs only 4 mana. This monster has one armor as well which will definitely help me in this battle. Here I used a level 2 Twilight Basilisk monster in this battle.

3. Dhampir Infiltrator (Level 1 card)
I used this monster in the third position because of its sneak and double-strike ability. Dhampir Infiltrator is a rare dragon monster and costs 4 mana. It has 1 melee attack, 2 speed, and 2 health. This is a really good monster with a stronger attack because of its double strike and sneak ability.

4. Screeching Vulture (Level 5 card)
The screeching Vulture is a common earth monster. I chose this monster in the fourth position as it has opportunity ability and I don't want this monster to die soon, Hence I put this monster in the middle of my battle lineup. This monster has stronger attack and high speed which make this monster highly dangerous. In addition to that it has flying ability as well.

5. Venari Scout (Level 4 card)
I chose Venari scout monster in the fifth position because of its opportunity ability. This monster is similar to Screeching Vulture. Again this monster has good attack and speed. I have a gold card, so it will help me to get more points for winning battles.

6. Venari Knifer (Level 3 card)
I intentionally chose the Venari Knifer monster in the last position of my battle lineup because of its Thorn ability. It will provide an extra defense to my battle lineup from the back side. This monster has great attack and speed, so I hope that this monster will help to save my other monsters.

My opponents have chosen a really good monster and my opponent's strategy was quite similar to mine. Still, I don't know why his monsters are high-level as he has a level-one summoner. That's a little confusing, if anyone knows about this can comment me below.

In the first round, the opponent's monster started attacking first and did damage to my last monster. In this process, they also got damaged because of the Thorn ability of my Venari Knifer monster. My third monster did attack the opponent's last monster but died because of the thorn ability of the enemy monster.

In the second round, opponents of another monster died when he attacked my Venari Knifer monster because of its thorn ability. Here, I got some advantages over the opponent's team. Then my Screeching Vulture monster killed the opponent's second monster as this monster has lower health and my monster has opportunity ability. Then my second monster died when this monster attacked to opponent's first monster but died because of their Thorn ability. After that, my last monster killed the opponent's first monster and died too. My first monster again killed the opponent's next monster.

In the third round, the opponent has only two monsters left and mine also 2 monsters left alive. In the very first attack opponent's next monster died too and my two monsters are still alive. Now, my victory seems certain.

My monsters killed the opponent's last monster as well. Finally, I won the battle.

Conclusion

My strategy worked well as I used monster with Thorn ability in the first and last position for defense which really helped me a lot in this battle. Also, I used Monster with opportunity ability and did a great job of winning the battle. The battle was quite challenging as opponents have also stronger battle lineups and used similar strategies to mine. At last, I won the battle.
