My splinterlands battle post for the Battle Mage Secret Weekly Challenge.

Noxious Fumes is the ruleset for this week's Battle Mage Secrets weekly challenge. With this ability, all units get poisoned at the start of the battle. The health of monsters with poisoned gets reduced by 2 health at the start of each round. So, this ruleset is quite challenging and we need to choose monsters with higher health. I like to use magic monsters with this ruleset. Poison status is highly dangerous for small monsters with lower health. Because of the restrictions of total mana we still need to use monsters with lower health.

My Strategy For The Battle

My strategy is to use magic monsters with big health in the first and second positions of my battle lineup. Also, I will use monsters with the 'Tank Heal' ability to heal monsters in the first position of my battle lineup. I need to use monsters with high speed, so my monsters will attack faster. That's my plan and strategy for the battle. Let's see how things go.

Alric Stormbringer (Water Summoner)
In this battle, I used a level 4 Alric Stormbringer water summoner (gold card). This summoner will give one extra magic attack to my friendly monsters. This is a good choice for me as I want to use most of the magic monsters in this battle.

1. Prismatic Energy (Level 4 gold card)
I chose the Prismatic Energy monster in the first position because it has big health and high speed. Also, I want to use its magic reflect ability which might help me against magic monsters. I prefer melee monsters in the first position, but this time I will go with the Prismatic Energy monster. This monster is good with defense as well as attack because it has 2 magic attacks.

2. Djinn Oshannus (Level 2 gold card)
Again I used the big health monster in the second position and that is the Djinn Oshannus monster. This monster has 2 magic attacks, 5 speed, 11 health. So, the Djinn Oshannus monster is really a much stronger monster. It has great attacks and defense as well. Also, it has void and phase ability which makes it a highly dangerous monster, especially against magic monsters.

3. Ruler of the Seas (Level 2 card)
Now, I need to choose a monster with a stronger attack, and Rulers of the Seas is the best monster. Because it has 3 magic attacks, 3 speed, and 5 health. Along with that, it has 'blast' and 'swiftness' ability. This monster costs 6 mana and the only thing is that it has 5 heath which is not that good. Still, this monster is really helpful in the battle.

4. Creeping Ooze (Level 1 card)
Creeping Oose monster costs only one mana. I chose this monster in the fourth position only because of its Slow ability. I know that this monster will die soon. Still, I am going to use it because it will reduce the speed of enemy monsters in the starting. Which might help my monsters for a little time.

5. Crustacean King (Level 5 gold card)
I chose Crustacean King in the fifth position because of its 'Tank heal' ability. This monster will help me to heal monsters in the first position of my battle lineup. Crustacean king is a common water monster and costs only 3 mana. This monster is a ranged attack monster with good health.

6. Spirit Miner (Level 2 card)
I chose Spirit Miner monster in the sixth position for some defense to my battle lineup from the back side. This monster has good attack and health. Also, this monster has dodge and swiftness abilities. Spirit Miner costs 6 mana, it's a legendary neutral monster. Its dodge ability will definitely help against monsters with sneak ability.

My Opponents have pretty strong monsters. My opponents used Kelya Frendul summoners which give one extra speed and armor to the monsters in the battle lineup. So the overall strategy is very good. I am afraid of my opponent's battle lineup.

In the first round, all monster gets poisoned because of the Noxious Fumes ruleset. Also, my monsters get one extra magic attack while the opponent's monsters get one extra speed and armor because of respective summoners. My monsters started attacking the opponent's first monster.

In the second round, my fourth monster died as well as opponent's fifth monster died because of Poison. Then my last monster killed the opponent's first monster. After that my Third monster did damage to the opponent's second monster and because of its blast ability opponent's third monster died. Then opponent's last monster with a sneak ability killed my last monster. At the end of the second round, the opponent's second monster killed my first monster. In this entire round Crustacean King monster did well to hill the first monster in my battle lineup.

In the third round, my Crustacean King and opponent Pelacore Bandit monster died because of Poison. Now two monsters are alive in my battle lineup as well as the opponent's battle lineup. But opponent monsters has very low health while monster monster has still good health. Now my victory seems certain. My monsters killed the remaining monsters easily.

Finally, I won the battle. ✌️

Conclusion

My strategy worked very well. I used the Crustacean King monster with Tank heal ability in the battle which helped me a lot to heal the first monster of my battle lineup. My defense was quite strong with magic attacks. Overall, my strategy was a little better than my opponents and finally, I won the battle.
