BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge! RULESET - Healed Out

My splinterlands battle post for the Battle Mage Secret Weekly Challenge.

Healed Out is the ruleset for this week's Battle Mage Secret weekly challenge. Healed Out ruleset removes all healing abilities from both summoners and monsters. Hence, the heal, tank heal and triage ability have no use with the 'Healed Out' ruleset. Healed out ruleset is a little challenging as you don't have any healing cards. So we must use monsters with good defense in the first position and some monsters with good attack smartly. A good defensive monster always gives an extra advantage, hence we need to choose it wisely. I am very much used to with 'Healed Out' ruleset and It's not that hard ruleset for me. Let's see how the battle went out.

Battle Challenge Rulset

Healed Out

Ruleset: Healed Out, Up to Eleven

  • healed Out: All healing abilities are removed from monsters or summoners. We cant use monsters with abilities such as tank heal, heal, triage, etc.
  • Up to Eleven: All monsters get amplify ability. Amplify ability increases magic reflect, return fire, and thorn damage by one.

Mana cap: 12
Splinters: Fire, Water, Earth, Life, Dragon

My Strategy For The Battle

The total mana cap for the battle is only 12. Hence, I decided to attack from the back side of the opponent's battle lineup. Generally, I get difficulties to win battles with low mana caps. We need to choose the battle lineup very carefully otherwise we will lose easily with low mana battles. The battle ruleset is healed out and up to Eleven, So I need to choose the battle lineup accordingly. I decided to go with a water splinter and I will definitely use one monster with magic reflect ability in the first position. Then I should use a monster with stronger attacks.

Alric Stormbringer (Summoner)
Alric Stormbringer is one of the best water summoners. It could be a great choice if you want to use magic monsters in your battle lineup. Alric Stormbringer gives one extra magic attack to our all friendly monsters. It increases our attack and makes our battle lineup much stronger. Here, I have used a level 4 Alric Stormbringer card (gold card).

1. Lord Arianthus
Lord Arianthus is a legendary neutral monster. I put this monster in the first position because of its magic reflection ability. Because of the 'Up to Eleven` ruleset, all monsters will get amplify ability and Lord Arianthus has a magic reflect ability which is stronger along with amplify ability. Also, this monster has void and shield ability makes it the best choice for first position, and can provide a good defense to our battle lineup.

2. Coral Wraith
Now, I need to choose a monster with a stronger attack. Rulesets are really challenging and the total man for the battle is low. So, I decided to attack from the backside and for that, I need a monster with sneak ability. Hence I used the Coral Wraith monster in the second position for a stronger attack. I used the level 3 Coral Wraith monster (gold card). This monster has 2 magic attacks, 3 speed, and 4 health. It has sneak ability which I really wanted for this battle. Let's see how things work out in the end.

3. Torrent Fiend
As I left no mana and I wanted one monster for little defense from the backside. Hence I chose this monster which costs 0 mana 😁. It might give little defense if opponents used sneak monsters. This one is a good monster for little defense and with an extra little time that we get because of this monster, we can overpower the opponent's monsters.

My opponent has chosen a good monster and filled all positions of his battle lineup. He has only one ranged and magic attack monster. The remaining monster is either melee or with no attack. Here, I got an advantage because my opponents have not used monsters with sneak or opportunity abilities. I already thought that opponent will not use these monsters as the total mana cap for the battle is only 12.

In the first round, my Coral Wraith monster killed the opponent's last monster with its very first attack. Then opponent's second-last magic monster attacked my first monster. As my first monster has magic reflect ability so opponent's second last monster also died. Here, my strategy worked perfectly. Now the opponent has only one ranged attack monster left and he will die soon in the next round.

In the second round, my Coral Wraith monster again killed opponents another monster. Still, it's not easy to kill the opponent's first monster with my magic attack monster. At the end of the fourth round, the opponent's 2 monsters died.

In the fifth round, My Coral Wraith monster attacked the opponent's first monster. But because of its magic reflect ability my monster got damaged as well. In the next attack of my coral wraith monster, the opponent's first monster died and my Coral Warith monster also died at the same time.

In the end, I won the battle easily.

Conclusion

My strategy for the battle worked perfectly and I won the battle easily. I used the Coral Wraith monster with sneak ability. It really helped me a lot in this battle, because this monster killed almost all monsters of the opponents. My first monster 'Lord Arianthus' did a good job as well, as this monster killed opponents only magic attack monsters.
