My splinterlands battle post for the Battle Mage Secret Weekly Challenge.

Aimless is the ruleset for this week's Battle Mage Secrets weekly challenge.
With the Aimless ruleset, all monsters get a Scattershot ability. The Scattershot ability allows monsters to attack camouflaged monsters. This ability works very differently, our monsters scan and target any enemy monsters irrespective of their position. In my thinking, magic monsters and monsters with higher health will be effective with this ruleset.

My Strategy For The Battle

My strategy is to use high-level magic monsters and I want to use one monster with a Protect ability. So, I decided to go with a water splinter. A monster with protect ability will give extra armor to my friendly monsters, so it will help me against melee or ranged attack.

Alric Stormbringer (Water Summoner)
I chose Alric Stormbringer water summoner. This summoner is best if we have a lot of magic monsters in our battle lineup. As I planned this is the best summoner for me in this battle. I will try to choose magic monsters with great stats.

1. Prismatic Energy
I chose the Prismatic Energy monster in the first position as it has very good health. Also, this monster has good speed and Magic Reflect ability which will help me against magic monsters. Overall this monster gives me a good defense in the first position of my battle line-up.

2. Djinn Oshannus
I put Djinn Oshannus in the second position. This monster is one of my favorite monsters and I use this monster most of the time with water splinter battles. Again this monster has a good magic attack, higher speed, and higher health. Apart from that it has Void and Phase abilities, these abilities make this monster highly dangerous. So, I have a good defense in both the first and second positions.

3. Riverboat Captain
I put the Riverboat Captain in the third position. It has low health, hence I put it in the middle of my battle lineup as I don't want it to die early. I like this monster because of its Blast ability. So it will damage to target monster and half damage to adjacent monster. Hence, this would be really helpful monster for me in this battle.

4. Venari Wavesmith
My next monster for the fourth position is Venari Wavesmith. There is reason for me to choose this monster because it has Protect ability. This Protect ability will give an extra 2 armor to my friendly monsters. So it will be effective against melee or ranged attack monsters.

5. Magi Of Chaos
I put the Magi of Chaos monster in the fifth position. This is an epic neutral monster, here I used a level 3 monster. This monster costs only 6 mana and it has really great stats. This monster has 3 magic attacks, so it has a stronger attack.

6. Spirit Miner
In the last, I chose the Spirit Miner monster. This monster has good stats, but its abilities are best for me in this battle. Health is not that low, so still it will give some defense to my battle lineup from the back side. This monster has Dodge and Swiftness ability.

In the first round, the Opponent's monster got one extra speed and armor because of their summoner. My monsters got one extra magic attack because of my summoner. My opponents also chose water splinter to fight this battle. I have used all magic monsters while my opponents used monsters with mixed attack types. At the end of the first round, my monsters successfully killed the opponent's first monster.

In the second round, at the very start, my third monster died. Up to the end of the first round, my first monster died while the opponent's last two monsters died.

In the third round, My monsters easily killed the opponent's next monster. Now, the opponent has only 2 monsters left alive while my 4 monsters are alive. Here, my monsters completely dominated the opponent's monster and now my victory seems certain.

In the fourth round, my monsters easily killed the opponent's remaining monster and I won the battle easily.

Conclusion

My strategy worked really well and I won the battle easily. Because of the Aimless ruleset, I thought to use good magic monsters with higher health. Everything worked well as I planned.
