Splinterlands - My Journey...

My splinterlands journey is quite interesting. I always wondered why I didn't start playing this game early. Still, it's fine, because my progress is quite commendable.

I got to know about this game from a long time ago through blogs or social media. But I always thought that blockchain games are not easy to play. Hence I avoided playing blockchain games for a long time. I started playing this game in July 2021. So it's been more than two years since I played this game and still playing. Splinterlands is my favorite game because this is an old project and still running well even after the bear market.

In the starting I was not playing this game regularly, I was like a casual player. I was unaware of many things in the game like card upgrades, abilities, staking, etc. With time I got to know many things, I started to read blogs and watch videos related to splinterlands. This is how I became a good splinterlands gamer. From last year, I started playing this game actively.

Last year I set an SPS goal in splinterlands, my target was to reach 12000 SPS tokens. But couldn't complete the goal, still I am still happy that I could reach closer to my goal. Right now I have 9900+ SPS tokens. Soon I will reach 10000 SPS tokens. To reach my goal, I invest in SPS tokens from time to time. Also, I tried to increase my strength in the game by purchasing cards and renting cards.

Here, is my SPS balance growth in the year 2023. I tracked my balance every month in the last year, where I started from 100+ SPS tokens and now I am at 9900+ SPS tokens. This is a kind of achievement for me.

Right now I have a total of 9932 SPS tokens in my game wallet which is worth around 276 USD according to the current market price.

My total splinterlands cards (assets) worth is around 93.75 dollars according to the details shown below screenshot.

My Goal for The Year 2024

• SPS goal - 15000 SPS
• As of now I am playing in the Silver League. My Next goal is to try for the Gold League. Fort that I will try my best to accumulate stronger cards either through purchase or rent. Also, I will try to accumulate Rebellion cards as I don't have many Rebellion cards right now.
• Also, I will choose the SPT coin in my priority list and will try to accumulate even more.

My Advice for Beginners

• Play this game by setting long-term goals. If you are planning with a short-term goal, then you might not get the expected result.
• It doesn't matter when you start to play, instead how you start matters.
• Beginners can start playing this game with a low investment of around 11$ (10$ for spellbook + 1$ for rent cards per season etc.) Then you can increase investment if you can see potential return in the game.
• Keep learning strategy and play actively. There are different ways to earn on splintelands like sps staking, liquidity pool, gameplay, cards rent, etc.
• Join guilds if possible and try to join braws, you will earn good rewards from braws according to your guild performance in brawls.
