Welcome to my Splinterlands blog, I made this blog for beginners or those who are willing to start playing the Splinterlands game.

Splinterlands - Play to Earn Game:
Splinterlands is a collectible card game in which we are playing with other players using cards. To win the battle we need to make good battle combinations and use high-level cards. You will earn a reward for every battle won. You have many options to earn from this game like staking, card buy-sell, liquidity pool, rent staked sps, etc. SPS tokens have a great use case and I consider this as one of the good investment opportunities in the long term.

Common Question That Comes into Beginner's Mind:

1. Is this game good for Beginners?
   According to me, Yes. Absolutely this game is good for beginners to earn a good amount of money. But yeah, you need to be consistent. You should try to learn and explore ways to earn with splinterlands. You should interact with existing gamers, so you will get to know many things about the game. You should read blogs or tutorials about the Splinterlands game and of course, you should see Splinterland's official FAQ page. (This is what I did at the beginning of my Splintelands journey. Whatever I learned about this game was by reading blogs, FAQ, and playing practice matches.)

2. Should Start Playing and How much to invest in the Beginning?
   It's never too late to start. This is what I think, without trying you won't get any idea. So, it's better to start without thinking much. Beginners think that they need to invest too much. But that's not right, you can start with a small amount as low as (20$). You can use stronger cards without buying them, you can rent these cards. If you see potential then you can invest further or invest back your earnings. Earning solely depends on individuals - how they play, how much you are involved in the game, how much you invested for long-term goals etc.

3. Does It has Long Term Potential?
   Yes, absolutely the Splinterlands have a long-term potential. Because this is one of the popular blockchain games and has a great number of active users. Also, this game has been running for a long time and it already survived the previous bear market. So, This game has great potential in the long term.

How to Start Playing Splinterlands Game?

Step 1: Log in using Hive Keychain or Private Posting key from a PC or mobile device.

Step 2: Purchase 'Summoners spellbook' which costs around 10$. This will enable you to access game features and you can play battles. At the start, you can play battles using base card sets (No need to buy these cards, only buy them if you want to upgrade cards to the next level)

To play battles you need to choose one summoner of fire, water, earth, life, dragon splinter. After that, you need to choose 1-6 monsters depending on the total mana cap for the battle.

• Cards: Choose cards wisely depending on their stats and ability. Higher level or rarity cards will help you to win battles.

Tips For Beginners

• Start with a small investment. Play battles as much as possible to understand gameplay.
• Join the splinterlans community on Discord. Interact with others to learn more about Splintelands.
• Be consistent. Try renting cards, if you can't afford to buy cards. Increase your investment slowly.
• To increase earnings, you should rent staked sps tokens to increase your reward boost in the game. Rent stronger cards to increase your rating and league. A higher league leads to greater rewards.
• Join guild brawls and earn a good reward for your participation in the guild brawl.
• Set small goals and try to complete them.

My Splinterlands Journey & Achievements

I joined this game in July 2021. In the beginning, I was just playing it casually. I started playing this game actively from the start of this year 2023. I have made goals and plans to improve my performance in the game. I was very focused on increasing my staked SPS balance from the beginning of this year. Now I have a total of 9563 SPS tokens in my game wallet which is worth around 175 dollars.

My SPS goal for the year 2023 is 12000 SPS tokens. I am trying my best to reach the goal. I hope that I will reach that goal before the end of this year. I have invested in SPS tokens from time to time throughout this year for long-term goals. Here's the screenshot of my SPS balance growth this year.

I may not reach my SPS goal. Still, I did much better as I could reach closer to my SPS goal.

Also, I accumulated many cards. Now I have 28 epic and 8 legendary cards. My total card value is around 80$ according to the below screenshot.

So, you can clearly see my tremendous growth in just one year. From zero to Hero, that line perfectly suits my condition in the Splinterlands game. 😉 I regularly rent cards and staked SPS to improve my gameplay and reward. If we smartly manage all things then we can definitely earn a good amount from this game.
