SPS - GLX Staking | My Goal & Progress

Staking is one of the good ways to earn steady earnings on our investment. There are some excellent staking options to make APR on our staked assets. Right now I am very focused on my SPS and GLX staking. SPS is the governance token of Splinterlands while GLX is the governance token of Genesis League Sports. So, staking in SPS and GLX will definitely increase our position in the game as well.

My SPS Goal & Progress

At the start of this year, my SPS balance was around 100 SPS. Then, I continuously did better to increase my SPS staking & now I have a much better amount of SPS tokens. Whenever the price goes a little down, then I see it as an opportunity to buy SPS. This helps me to increase my staked SPS balance significantly.

Yesterday I purchased 200 SPS and transferred it to my game wallet. Also, today I purchased and transferred it to my game wallet.

So, I have a total of 7027 SPS tokens worth around 114.74 dollars. This is like an achievement for me as I never believed that I could reach 7000+ SPS that soon. At the beginning of this year, my SPS goal was too low (2000 SPS), but because of my progress, I changed my goal and set it too high. My SPS goal for the year 2023 is 12000 SPS which I want to complete before the end of this year. Let's see how it goes and whether I can reach my goal or not.

From my SPS balance growth chart, you can see that how I increased my SPS tokens monthly. Initially, I had a very low amount of SPS tokens, Then every single month I tried to increase my SPS stake at a higher rate. At the beginning of September months, I had 6682 SPS tokens as shown in the below screenshot. Because I update this chart at the beginning of every month. At this moment, I have 7000+ SPS tokens, and it will continue to increase. I want to hold SPS tokens for my long-term goal. We are getting an SPS reward at the rate of 15% APR on our SPS staking, which is quite a good deal and it can give good returns in the long term.

My GLX Goal & Progress

I am really trying my best to accumulate GLX tokens as much as possible. My GLX goal for the year 2023 was 10000 GLX which I already completed. Now, I need to update my Goal, So my new GLX goal is 20000 GLX tokens. This is quite possible according to my previous progress with the GLX tokens. Like SPS, I also want to hold GLX tokens for the long term. Right now we are getting really good rewards on our GLX staking, so I am taking advantage of this.

Yesterday, I purchased 500 GLX tokens and transferred them to my game wallet.

Now, I have a total of 14469 GLX tokens worth around 52.15 dollars. Only 61 days left for staking reward and we are getting staking reward at the rate of 65% APR. That's a pretty good reward and It will be beneficial for me in the long term.

I started staking GLX tokens in February month of this year. From the below chart, you can see how my GLX balance increased significantly in less time. At the beginning of September month, I had 13700 GLX tokens and now I am at 14400+ GLX tokens. So, my overall GLX progress is very impressive.
