Catotune's Top Battles Rundown: Champion league, Wild format - May 29, 2025

In this series, I analyze the top battles of the day to reveal which summoners and monsters are most successful for a given league and format. What better way to improve our Splinterlands skills than to study what the best players are doing?

For those of us who buy, rent, or rent out cards, I'm also hoping that this series can inform us of which cards to acquire for maximum effectivenes.

For simplicity I threw out matches ending in draws and surrender - all data is compiled from wins and losses. Here are the results from 132 of the top Champion league (wild format) battles from Thursday, May 29, 2025:

   Corrupted Pegasus is a Legendary monster card from the Promo edition.
   In today's top Champion league (wild) battles, the card at level 4 was most successful, finding itself on the victorious team for all 4 games in which Corrupted Pegasus appeared.

   • Neutral splinter held its own in battles with mana caps of 16 or lower, prevailing in 2 of those matches.
     
     

2. Fire
   Win rate: 60.00% [15/25]
   

   
   
   Fire splinter had the most success against Fire, besting its identical element 6 times in today's top Champion league (wild) battles.

   • This splinter was effective with the Back to Basics ruleset, where Fire emerged victorious 2 times.

   • Fire splinter held its own in battles with mana caps higher than 56, defeating the enemy in 3 of those matches.
     
     

3. Dragon
   Win rate: 54.35% [25/46]
   

   
   
   Dragon splinter had the most success against Dragon, defeating its identical element 12 times in today's top Champion league (wild) battles.

   • This splinter performed well with the Tis but Scratches ruleset, where Dragon won 3 times.

   • Dragon splinter was useful in high mana cap battles (greater than 56 mana), defeating the enemy in 6 of those battles.
