It was a battle with True strike and opportunity battle rule set, so it was an opportunity for me to use Soulbound summoner, Gladius monster and Martyr ability Monsters. To be honest this trick did very well and I got the expected result. We are also very close to finishing the current calendar.
There is some huge achievement that I achieved in this year and hope I will able to please 48k sps too. There is so many more thing to share about my splinterland journey and Hive journey but I will do it later. Now I am going to share about my battle that I played with the combination of Martyr ability, Soulbound summoner and Gladius cards. You will be surprise to see the result of the battle. Almost similar battle line up from opposition team.

LOBB LOWLAND AS MY SUMMONER

It is the second time, when I am sharing my battle mage secrets with Soulbound summoner. `Lobb Lowland is a `Soulbound` Earth unit summoner with Conscript ability. This Rare summoner also provides ( -1) speed for the opponent's team. The benefit of using this summer is that one can use Gladius cards due to Conscript ability in normal gameplay. It was a wise decision using Soulbound summoner with Gladius Quora Towershead.

BATTLE RULESET AND MANA
It was just 42 Mana gameplay and three splinters were active for the battle in the form of Dragon, Earth and Water. It was enough mana to use Soulbound summoner and Quora Towershead. For this battle three battle ruleset were applied in the form of Opportunity, Enrage and Aim True.

AIM TRUE
It is a weekly battle mage secrets theme. With Aim True all attacking Monsters will hit their target. In other words it can be said that it is another form of True strike. Flaying and Dodge ability monsters are going to ineffective.

WHAT DOESN'T KILL YOU
I like this ability very much as we can use the Enrage ability of the Monsters. Melee Monsters become more dangerous with Enrage but forcefield is a good option against what doesn't kill you ruleset.

OPPORTUNITY
It was the battle rule set who helped me a lot to destroy my Martyr ability monsters. With this ruleset all monsters will target the monster with lowest health.

TEAM COMBINATION AND CARD PLACING
It was 42 Mana gameplay, so I was ready to use Soulbound summoner along with a Gladius card Quora. I was thinking that it would be interesting to use the opportunity battle ruleset to use two martyr ability Monsters along with Gladius Quora Towershead. My plan was very simple. Deliberately I was using high Mana monsters and Camouflage ability monster except two martyr ability Monsters. With opportunity battle ruleset, all opposition monsters going to Target my lowest health base martyr ability Monsters. I placed Quora Towershead between Venari Marksrat and fungus flinger. Although my opposition team was also using two Martyr ability monster, so it was not going an easy battle for me. For the first place traditionally I placed Lord Arianthus, second position was for Grund, a double strike Melee monster. Rest combination you will see in battle.

LORD ARIANTHUS

This is my best and favorite card from Neutral Element. It's name is LORD ARIANTHUS.However, this card does not have any attack abilities. But because it's a legendary card and I used it at level 3, it has four abilities of its own. Which is enough to win any battle. It has Shield, Void ability, Magic Reflect and Thorns ability. It is only of five mana. There is one speed and it has a total of 8 health. I use this card in the first position. In the Shield ability, it reduces the range and damage of Melee attacks received by the opposing team. Here in void ability, magic attack damage is reduced. Due to having magic reflect ability, when a card attacks magic on it, it reflects and damages it. In the thorns ability, when a card makes a Melee attack on it, it takes two damage.

GRUND

This is one of the best EPIC card especially when we get opportunity and what doesn't kill you rule set. I was using this Epic Monster because of its double strike Melee attack and Trample ability. It is Earth unit 11 Mana Melee monster. This Monster has no sneak or opportunity but due to battle ruleset it was getting opportunity ability. I was using level 4 of it at this level we get 4 Melee attack, 3 speed and 11 health. At level 4 I was getting Double strike and Trample ability. At Max level we one additional ability Cripple with 13 health. I was using this Melee Monster at second position.

FUNGUS FLINGER

Fungus Flinger is not my favorite card, but I really like this card's ability. I mostly use this card to use it's martyr ability. This card comes with three mana. Although it does a ranged attack with one attacking speed, but because I used it at level 6 gold in this battle, it is doing a ranged attack with two attacking speeds. It has low health, so it is always a victim of the opportunity ability card of the opposing team. I put this card in the third position so that when it is eliminated, the power of my QUORA and Grund will increase due to the Martyr ability. It has 2 abilities of its own at level 6, one is Martyr and the other is Blind. All enemy Melee & Ranged attacks in the Blind ability have an increased chance of missing their target.

QUORA TOWERSHEAD

Quora Towershield is not only mine but all splinterlands gamer's favorite card. This is a great card that everyone would like to play with. It is only of 10 mana. Because I used level 2 so it does two Melee Attacks 2 Magic Attacks with three Attacking Speeds. I put this card on the fourth position. It has 12 health. This card has two abilities of its own, one is Bloodlust which every Gladius card has and the other is Heal. Due to the Bloodlust ability, when this card attacks a card and eliminates it, then it becomes even more dangerous, that is, it increases its every power, such as attacking speed, health, shield and also its attack. I put a card with the Martyr ability on either side of this card that has low health. And which was the most effective and dangerous strategy of this battle. It also has the Heal ability, due to which it keeps increasing its health by 4 every round. In this battle, it also has the Enrage ability, which it got from the battle ruleset. Being an Enrage ability, this card increases its power when it takes damage, as you can easily see in battle. Using Quora with two Martyr ability monster was a perfect decision.

VENARI MARKSRAT

There was only one reason to use this three Mana monster. I wanted to utilize its Martyr ability with Quora. Venari Marksrat is just like fungus flinger. I have used this card in the same way as the third card because it also has the Martyr ability. I have used this card at level 5 due to which it is doing a ranged attack with 2 attacking speed, 4 health. Marksrat has two abilities of its own. One is Martyr and the other is Snare. As I said, being a Martyr ability, when it is eliminated, it increases the power of the cards around it. In Snare Ability, when this card attacks a card that has Flying Ability, its Flying Ability is removed. I put this card on the fifth position. You will say how it was helpful for his fellow monster Quora Towershead.

DOCTOR BLIGHT

This time it's rent market is very high and if you want to rent it then you have to pay almost hundred Dec for single day. This is a Legendary card. Which I have used 3 level. It only costs 4 mana, does two magic attacks with one speed, and has only four health. I found this to be the most dangerous card in little League battle. It has a total of 5 abilities. Four of his own and one he got because of the battle rule. Its abilities are Affliction, Camouflage, Poison and Scavenger. Two from battle ruleset in the form of Enrage and Opportunity. In affliction ability, when a card with Affliction ability attacks a card of the opposing team, then Affliction is applied on it, then that card will not be able to increase its health. Due to the Camouflage ability, no card of the opposing team will attack it unless it is in the first position. Attacks in the Poison ability have a chance to apply poison, which does automatic damage to the target at the beginning of each round. With the scavenger ability, any card of the opposition team or my team will be eliminated, then it will increase its health. So it was my team combination with that I was facing a strong opposition team.

DID MY STRATEGY WORKED? WILL I TRY DIFFERENTLY IN NEXT TIME?
My strategy and plan was very perfect for the battle with this combination of Soulbound/Martyr and Gladius. Using two martyr ability monster with Quora Towershead was a wise decision. Likewise in an opportunity battle ruleset opposition team always target the lowest health of the team. I deliberately placed Quora between Venari marksrate and fungus flinger so that Martyr ability can be applied over Quora Tower shield. My whole focus was over these three Monsters but don't forget that these Martyr ability Monsters also supporting to Doctor Blight and Grund. You will see when I finished the battle that time Quora Towershield has increased 12 speed, 7 magic attack and 11 Melee attack. My opposition team was also applying similar strategy for the battle, so with double strike he was damaging almost 12 health in one round. Finally I able to won the battle remaining two Monster from my side. So I can say that my strategy and plan worked very well. Yes I will do some change in next battle with new ruleset.
