Splinterlands: Weekly Battle mage secrets submission with the Theme Fire and Regret

Hello splinterlands play2earn fans!

This is my weekly battle mage secrets submission with the Theme Fire and Regret. Like Thorn and Magic reflect, Return fire is also a similar ability that makes a return damage to the monsters who attacked with ranged attack. In Thorn, Melee attacks get back damage and in Magic reflect, all magic monsters get back damages.
From the beginning of Untamed Edition Return Fire ability was available with Lir Deepswimmer, a Legendary summoner from Water splinter.
There are a couple of monsters too with similar abilities. Riftwatcher revealed their first Epic summoner Ilthan with Return Fire ability. Nowadays we are getting such battle rules set from Daily focus battle.
It was an interesting battle that I played without using magic and ranged attack monsters. It was not a going to distance ruleset. so simply I was using Death unit to face magic and Melee monsters.

MY SUMMONER

Thaddius Brood is my favorite against magic Monsters but it was Return fire rule set, yet I chose Thaddius Brood. Actually 3 splinterlands were active for this gameplay. There is no good Melee ability monster in Fire and Water unit with Thorn. Finally I decided to use Death unit with the combination of Demoralize ability monster.

Here I got two Demoralize monster below 8 mana including one Thorn monster. Thaddius Brood is a weaken and Silence ability Chaos Legion Edition summoner. Being Return Fire ruleset, it was possibility to use magic attack with Melee monsters. That's why I chosen Thaddius Brood as my summoner.

BATTLE RULESET AND MANA

It was just 32 Mana gameplay with three battle ruleset. Fab Four, Fire and Regret and Super Sneak rules at was applied for the battle.
For this battle only three splinters were active. Being Fab Four ruleset 32 mana was enough as one can use only four slots for the battle. Mostly I choose the monsters against battle rule set but this time I decided to use three Melee monsters out of four monsters.

Super Sneak
Non opportunity and sneak ability Melee monster also will be able to target from any position due to Super Sneak ability. It means all Melee monsters will get Super Sneak ability.

Fab Four

In the normal battle ruleset we can use a maximum of six cards. But with Fab Four ruleset only four slots can be used. It means despite high Mana gameplay one has to choose only four monsters.
Fire and Regret
This is one of the most useful ability especially when we are battling against General Slon or Selenia Sky an Alpha Edition Legendary summoner. There are almost 12 Monsters with Return Fire ability along with 2 summoner Lir Deepswimmer and Ilthan.

BATTLE LINEUP DISCUSSION
First of all, I like to check the opponent’s recently played team. After that I check the battle rule set and Mana. It was only 32 mana game play. I was looking for an appropriate team in the Fab Four, Super sneak and Fire and Regret ruleset.

I was not thinking about range attacks, rather I was thinking about Melee and magic attacks. Only for slots could be used so I decided to use Death unit with the combination of two Thorn monsters. There was no possibility for me to use Amplify ability monster so I decided to use Three Melee monsters and single non attacking monster Lord Arianthus.

LORD ARIANTHUS

This is my favorite card from Neutral Element. This legendary card does not have any attack abilities. I was using level 3 of it. This nonster comes with 4 abilities, which is enough to win any battle. Its Shield, Void, Magic Reflect and Thorns ability is enough for a normal battle lineup. It is only five mana.
There is one speed and it has a total of 8 health. I placed this card in the first position. With the Shield ability, it reduces the damage of Melee attacks from the opposition team. It's void ability, reduces magic attack.
I was little careful especially taking magic attack in Fire and Regret ruleset that's why I given place in Fab Four battle squad.

DISINTEGRATOR

It was another Demoralize Monster that I was using with the combination of Harklaw. Actually I was a little careful taking Melee attacks in Super sneak ruleset that's why I given place to Disintegrator in the battle squad.
It is a 7 Mana Melee monster from Neutral unit. At level 6, this common Monster provides Demoralize and Trample ability. Super Sneak was another ability that we are getting from ruleset. This common Monster comes with three Melee Attack, 2 speed 3 armor and six health, so it proved impactful for the battle.
There were 3 Melee monster in opponent's battle squad, so just I was going to use it's Melee attack with Demoralize.

HARKLAW

It is a Legendary Melee Monster from Death unit. It is also 8 Mana monster that provides two Melee attack, two speed, 3 armor and 9 health at level 3. I like this Monster very much because of it's Demoralize, Immune and Shield ability.
It was the third Monster that I was using with Demoralize ability. I placed this Monster at 5th number, so that I can use its demoralize for a long time.
To be honest, if I try to use maximum card with magic attack then it was possible that I could lost the battle as my opponent was using Phase ability monster front position. Demoralize Melee Monsters helped me alot to remove the impact of Melee attacks on the opponent lineup.

CURSED WINDEKU

I like this Monster a very much. There are so many reasons to like this monster. This is a Rare monster with Thorns and Tank ability. It is a 6 Mana Monster and at this Mana cost we get pretty good 11 health. At 6 level we get 3 Melee attack and 3 speed.

I wanted to resist opponent's Monsters that's why I placed this Rare and Heal monster at first position. With the battle ruleset there is one additional counterspell ability inside this monster.

ABOUT MY STRATEGY AND PLAN
For this battle, I didn't pay more attention towards magic attack. Yes I was little careful taking magic attack that's why I given priority to Lord Arianthus at first position. My whole plan was talking Super Sneak battle ruleset.

I was using 3 Melee monsters including two Demoralize Disintegrator and Harklaw and one Thorn ability Cursed Wendeku. Beside it one more Thorn monster Lord Arianthus at first position. There was no magic attack in my Fab Four.
I was not thinking about Range attack as it was Fire and Regret ruleset. Thus It was my team combination with that I was against almost similar battle squad. It was my plan that if my opponent comes with magic attack then Thaddius Brood and Lord Arianthus will resist them. If opponent comes with Melee attack then two Demoralize and Thorn will help.

Although my enemy team was using Dodge Ability legendary summoner yet this combination made them helpless and they are getting just single attack either it is magic or Melee attack. So I can say my strategy and plan worked very well for the battle. Next time I will do some change according to new battle ruleset. For this battle this combination was perfect.
