Splinterlands: Weekly Battle mage secrets submission with the Theme Little League.

This week's ruleset is Little League.

It means only units and summoners with a Mana cost four or less will be eligible for combat. Protect, Thorn, magic reflect, Return fire and additional health base summoner or monster going to increase your defense. Similarly I tried to do with Weaken and protect. No magic reflect, thorn and return fire in battle squad. I could use Eleven Mystic to protect from magic attacks. Overall similar team combination from both sides. Two martyr from both side, single protect ability monster from both side. 1 Melee attack and 3 magic attacks. Similar summoner from both sides. Similar attack similar speed and similar health. There was only one different that he was using Doctor Blight without Scavenger while using three level of it.

OSIBDIAN; A MAGIC ADDITIONAL SUMMONER

After a long time, I am sharing any battle with Obsidian. Actually, I wanted to utilize its magic attack with additional magic ability in Target Practice and Aim True battle ruleset. No doubt Chaos Legion has given so many good summoners with unique abilities. `Obsidian` is also one of them. It is a rare monster in four Mana that provides a single magic attack for all friendly magic monsters. There is no more ability inside this summoner like other summoners. Likewise, in Target Practice, battle ruleset magic Monsters are going to be effective.

BATTLE RULESET AND MANA

First time I got perfect Mana gameplay for Little League, otherwise most of the time I got over 40 Mana in the little League ruleset. It was 25 Mana gameplay with three battle ruleset Target Practice, Aim True and Little League. Only four splinters were active in the form of Water, Earth, Fire and Death. I decided to use Obsidian as my summoner with a magic attack in the Target Practice ruleset. I was also using to rain attack but only for its Martyr ability.

LITTLE LEAGUE

This is the theme of today's battle mage secrets. In little League ruleset the Monsters and summoners of 4 Mana can be use. It means one have to battle with only four Mana Monsters.

AIM TRUE

It is a weekly battle mage secrets theme. With Aim True all attacking Monsters will hit their target. In other words it can be said that it is another form of True strike. Flaying and Dodge ability monsters are going to ineffective.

TARGET PRACTICE
All magic and range Monster will be more effective with Snipe ability. It means all range and magic Monsters will get snipe ability.

TEAM COMBINATION AND LINEUP DISCUSSION

It was just 24 Mana gameplay and only four Splinter were active for the battle. Being a little League ruleset hi decided to use health base Monster at front position. To support back line Monsters I decided to use Martyr ability monsters between Doctor Blight. Obsidian was my summoner, so I was getting additional magic attack. With Martyr Doctor Blight could be more dangerous. It means mainly I secured first and last position.

XENITH MONK

This is one of the best rare Monster, especially for little League ruleset. This is a super discover of Chaos Legion Edition. I was using 6 level of it and at this level we get Heal and Void ability that makes it more impressive. It is a four Mana monster with pretty good seven health, 2 Melee attack and 4 speed. Most of the time I use this rare Monster at first position in little League. It's pretty good health always provides extra protection to backline monsters. Void ability ignores a single magic attack.

DJINN BILJKA

It is a small budget card in three Mana. It is a legendary card from the Earth unit. Its health is very low, just 3 at level 3. With Obsidian It becomes more effective as no Monster can attack over it due to its Camouflage ability until first position. Void and Weaken makes it more powerful. I was using level 3 of it and at this level this monster provides two magic attack and single speed. Overall it was the third legendary that I was using in Little League.

JINI GUISE

It is four Mana Gladius legendary card from Earth unit. If you are thinking how I can use Gladius card in normal battle rule set, then I would like to remind that it is Brawl battle. It is a magic attack Monster but at level 2 we get just a single magic attack. The good thing is that we get Gladius benefit bloodlust ability. Two additional abilities Blind and Protect. Although my opposition team was also using maximum magic Monsters, so protect going to support from single Melee and two range attack. Unfortunately snipe destroyed it within first round.

VENARI MARKSRAT

Venari Marksrat is just like fungus flinger. Both are 3 Mana cards but one is from Neutral unit and another one is from the Earth unit. Nowadays I started to utilize the Martyr ability monster with Doctor Blight and Bloodlust monsters. I have used this card at level 6 due to which it is doing a ranged attack with 2 attacking speed. At this level we get single range attack. It has two abilities of its own, one of which is Martyr and the other is Snare. As I said, being a Martyr ability, when it is eliminated, it increases the power of the cards around it.

DOCTOR BLIGHT

This is a Legendary card. I have used 3 level. It only costs 4 mana, does two magic attacks with one speed, and has only four health. It is the most dangerous card in 4 mana. It has a total of 5 abilities. Four of his own and two got because of the battle rule. Its abilities are as follows: Affliction, Camouflage, Poison, Scavenger and Fury. In affliction ability, when a card with Affliction ability attacks a card of the opposing team, then Affliction is applied on it, that is, then that card will not be able to increase its health. Due to the Camouflage ability, no card of the opposing team will attack it unless it is in the first position.

FUNGUS FLINGER

Fungus Flinger is not my favourite card, but I really like this card's ability. I mostly use this card for martyr ability. Martyr always helps the cards around it. This card is of only three mana. Although it does a ranged attack with one attacking speed, but because I used it at level 6 gold in this battle, it is doing a ranged attack with two attacking speeds. It has 4 health, so it is always a victim of the opportunity ability card of the opposing team. I put this card at last position, so that when it is eliminated, the power of Doctor Blight will increase due to the Martyr ability. It has 2 abilities of its own at level 6, one is Martyr and the other is Blind. All enemy Melee & Ranged attacks in the Blind ability have an increased chance of missing their target.

STRATEGY FOR LITTLE LEAGUE
There was no possible to use above four Mana Monster so I decided to use two Camouflage ability monster in battle squad. Rest of the two Monsters only for support with Martyr.
To avoid a magic attack impact I placed Xenith Monk at first position. I was thinking if my opposition team comes with a magic attack then it could be helpful with Void and Heal. You will see that equally both team losing their Monsters. It was Dr Blight and Martyr that made the differences.
Doctor Blight's Scavenger made it easier and I won this battle in the 4th round. Now I can say that my strategy and plan work very well for the battle.
