Nodes - Return on Investment

I am trying to figure out the return on investment (ROI) on nodes. Seems like right now with nodes the benefit they are offering at current prices is a better return then staking SPS.

I am making an assumption of stable returns which we know the returns will not be stable as more nodes come online, but for the sake of the calculation we are making the assumption.

Here is a breakdown of node prices at varying SPS levels in terms of SPS, assuming 500 vouchers used in the purchase, a stable return of 20 daily SPS and return of 6 vouchers a day at a cost of .50 cents for a $3 a day, and an auto reinvestment into SPS to keep it consistent:

This is a vary simplified calculation with a lot of assumption on stable prices of vouchers and SPS. This does not take into account what happens if SPS goes down or skyrockets after you purchase a node license. We do know the sentiment for SPS is bullish however, as we have several catalysts for SPS, player staking, riftwatchers, and SPS burning from node purchases.

Let me know what you think in the comments below.

Cheers,
