Biting the Tide: An Epic Reward

Yesterday I got “Life” as my daily focus. Despite not being my best splinter, I was still able to accumulate eight focus chests. Yeah, eight is not that many but considering that I’m playing at the silver league and using one of my weaker splinters, I think eight is a decent number. That said I still needed to rent a few cards to increase my win rate but I think it was worth it.

So without further ado, these were the loots that I’ve received after opening the focus chests:

• Two Alchemy Potion Charge(s)
• One Legendary Potion Charge
• 28 Dark Energy Crystal (DEC)
• One Blood Maker (Common Card)
• One Venari Crystalsmith (Rare Card)
• One Tide Biter (Epic Card)

I got three potions this time around which isn’t that bad. The 28 DEC is also okay, not that many but enough to cover my renting fees. Blood Maker and Venari Crystalsmith also make excellent addition to my collection. That said that best loot among the bunch is without a doubt Tide Biter.

Speaking of Tide Biter, I now have enough cards to level it up to level 2 which would give it an additional attack. This means that for just 3 mana, I now have a card with two attacks that I could use in the second position thanks to its “Reach” ability. I think it’s a great card especially in low mana and little league rule sets.
