Gladius Packs Opening: An Epic Pull

avatar

After putting away the merits I earned from playing Brawl and Ranked Battles, I was finally able to save up more than 9,000 merits, which was more than enough to purchase six (6) Gladius packs in a single transaction, so I did exactly that.

So after purchasing the packs, I made the decision to open them in groups of two (2) at a time because I find it tedious to open one (1) pack at a time, not to mention that it doesn't produce satisfactory results for some reason.

Anyway, after opening all six (6) packs, I was able to obtain the following cards:

In the first two packs, I got a total of four (4) rare cards and six (6) common cards. One of the rare cards is Liza Fox, which is a card from the Death deck. Even though she is simply an rare card, the fact that I managed to snag Liza Fox makes me glad because she's a card I've never drawn before. In addition, she possesses a respectable amount of strength, as seen by the fact that she possesses three (3) speed, four (4) range attacks, and five (5) health points. When you take a look at her statistics, you can see that she is pretty powerful; the only thing that holds her back is the large amount of mana that she needs, which is seven (7). Despite the drawback though, I believe that she is still a respectable card that may see a lot of use in Brawl.

The next two packs yielded the best results of all six (6) packs because I was able to draw my first epic Gladius card, a new rare card, and a GF common card. Even though the majority of them are common cards, the rare and epic card made me happy. Quora Towershead, a powerful Earth deck card with two (2) magic and melee attack, three (3) speed, and eleven (11) health, was the epic card I received. Of course, her mana cost of ten (10) is high as well, but she's still a very powerful card in my opinion. I obtained my first copy of Sarius from the Fire Deck for the rare card. She can kick ass with her two (2) range attacks, three (3) speed, and three (3) health points for just three (3) mana. Sarius doesn’t sync that well with Tarza’s ability but is great to use with a Yodin. Sadly, I don’t have a Yodin so she probably won’t see much use.

My last two packs also yielded an epic card. Unfortunately, it's a duplicate of Quora Towershead. Moreover, I also received three (3) rare cards from the packs, all of which are duplicates of cards I already own. Even the common cards are copies, making this batch both great and disappointing, which is rather ironic. If these aren't Gladius cards, I'd probably be happy to get duplicates of the same cards because I can just combine them and level the cards. Unfortunately, Gladius cards cannot be combined, so these cards can only be used to boost my collection power or to burn for DEC, which is a shame if you think about it.

So there you have it. That's all the cards I was able to get from the six (6) Gladius packs I recently opened. Given that I was able to draw at least two epic cards, it is safe to say that my luck is good this time around. Furthermore, after seeing the results, I am convinced that opening packs in batches of two yielded the best results, at the very least; the outcome is favorable to me.

In any case, that is all I have for the time being. I appreciate you taking the time to read this. Till next time.
