Why You Shouldn't Sleep On Djinn Oshannus

Rule sets in the video : Close Range and Spreading Fury

Amongst the Chaos Legion reward cards, legendary or otherwise; Djinn Oshannus is without a doubt my favorite, and for obvious reasons.

After all, even at level one, Djinn Oshannus has amazing stats with 10 health, 4 speeds, and 2 magic attacks. Moreover, it has the built in ability “Void”, which reduced magic damage by 1, at the same level.

At level two however, Oshannus get an additional health which gives it a total of 11 health. At the same time, it’ll unlock the ability “Phase” which gives it the chance to dodge magic damage, and since Djinn Oshannus has 5 speeds; it’ll be dodging quite a bit. Now if we use the Summoner Kelya, Oshannus would get an additional speed giving him a total speed of 6.

Moreover, if coupled with the rule set; Spreading Fury, Djinn Oshannus’ speed would be raise to 9 which is insane and overpowered. Of course, Djinn Oshannus needed to receive some damage first before getting that bonus but with 10 health at level one, it could take a lot of punishment.

Now, you might be asking why I’m promoting Oshannus in this post. Well, the reason for that was because a lot of players seemed to be sleeping on Djinn Oshannus after losing the summoner Alric. Certainly, Alric made Oshannus more powerful but even without Alric, Oshannus is still powerful.

For example; Djinn OShannus’ Void ability, coupled with Bortus’ -1 to magic damage would make it a great tank against magic teams. Same goes with Kelya. If you could level Djinn Oshannus to level two, and unlock its “Phase” ability, Oshannus would become the nightmare of many magic splinters.

So yeah, try not to sleep on Oshannus because if you did, you’ll be missing on one of the most powerful splinters out there.
