Splinterlands Diary: Buying and Renting Cards For Bronze I League
After playing the game for a few weeks, I was finally able to ditch Bronze II and moved to Bronze I.
I managed to get the necessary Power by buying and renting cards in the market. Actually, it's more on renting because I can't really afford to buy the expensive ones (yet).
Among my newly rented cards, 2000 of the 5000 Power needed to move to was from the Level 2 Qid Yuff (Gold Foil). I bit the bullet and rented Qid Yuff because renting it was relatively cheap, costing me 47 DEC for 7 days which I could easily get back in one day.
The next cards that I've rented were Torhilo The Frozen and Azmare Harpoonist which was my key to many of my wins in Bronze I. Then there was Temple Priest which I had yet to use because in any battle so I can't really say anything about his performance.
Besides the four cards I showcased here, I also rented several level 2 and a level 3 fire element cards (the reason I rented Qid Yuff). The fire element cards are from the Alpha deck which mean that they give Power amount if Power which also helped me get 5000 Power.
Besides renting cards, I also bought two cards, Efreet Elder, and Animated Corpses. The reason I bought these cards because I got sick of renting cards and wanted to add a few into my collections. Also, it' because they're decently priced.
I plan to buy more cards to add to my collection in the future since I prefer to actually own the cards instead of renting them. Having said that my budget is very limited and I couldn't really spend to much of my DEC because of the incoming Chaos Legion pre-sale and the SPS airdrop. Once I the pre-sale is over though I would most likely start using my SPS to buy more cards.
For now I could only make do with buying cheap card from time to time and/ or renting them.
