BIBLE STUDY HELD BY BROTHER ELI ON THE 5TH JANUARY 2022

MALACHI 3:16;17 From today’s bible study and from this book I learned that those that fear God and speak good things about him, he hear them and make them his own and also spare them just as a man spares his own child. I learnt that is good to speak good of God even though we are in the midst of those that hate God and his word we should always speak good about God so that God will spare us as a man spares his own son that serves him. Malachi 3:6 Here I also learned that God is still God he never and will never change that’s what he told sons of Jacob they are not going to be consumed that he’s with them, so as children of God we should always believe that is God he never change.

EXODUS 3:13;14,15 I understand that when God sent Moses to Egypt to deliver the children of Israel he didn’t know who tell them that sent him and he asked God who do I tell them that sent me and what name do I tell them? God said to him tell them, I am that I am, tell the children of Israel I am that I sent you, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac and the God of Jacob sent me to you and that is his name for ever and ever and from Generations to Generation and from eternity to eternity.

PSALM 90:2 Here I understand that even before the mountains and the world or the earth was formed God has been there he never change from eternity to eternity and from everlasting to everlasting God is still God he has not changed, he is God

JAMES 1:17 Here the Bible made us to understand that every good gift and perfect gift is from God which is the father of light.

NUM 23:19 In this book I understand that God is not man nor a human being that he should lie or the son nor the son of man that he should repent, he never said a word and didn’t fulfill it nor has he spoken a word and did not make it good, our God is indeed a reliable God and he shall we serve till the end of time.

EXODUS 32:14 Here I understand that God repented but not as human or as a sinner, the repentance here is change of mind mind on his people, God had change of mind towards his people when he found out they have also repented of their sins and turn from evil to good.

JONAH 3:4;5,6,7,8,9,10 When Jonah found out that God is angry with the people of Nineveh he cried and took a day journey to Nineveh, and told them that they will be overthrown and the people of Nineveh immediately embark on a fasting and the King said let nobody no man nor beast eat or drink nothing and let everyone cry unto God and let everyone turn from their evil ways and cry to God perhaps he will (repent) that is God might have a change of mind and not let them perish so when God found out that they have repented of their sins and changed from their evil ways God also changed and did not destroy them. It is good that we change and repent from our evil ways and turn to God almighty.

GEN 18:26;32 Here I understand that because of one or two people God can pardon a city or a community and forgive them of their sins, God would have destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah but because of fifty people he found righteous he forgave them.

2ND CHRONICLE 7:14 Here God is saying if only we can humble ourselves as we call his name and pray and then turn from our evil and wicked ways he will hear us from heaven and forgive our sins and he will heal the land. We must renounce our evil ways and allow God to take charge in everything we do.
