Series introduction

In this series you can follow me on my journey to Gold league III in Splinterlands. I started with about 5,000 CP and have just played the game for about two month. My plan is to invest in some cards to reach 15,000 CP for Silver III league and rent the rest of these cards.

Where are we

I bought some new cards that brings another 150 CP and earned 193 rating. Now I am in the range for Silver II and will start renting for this league as soon as my next quest is ready.

My water deck

Today I will show you my Water deck. Before Chaos legion this was my go to deck because of the great Alric - Djinn Oshannus combination. But lets see what I got here

My actual deck

Keyla Frendul

I decided to go with Kelya as I think he is really string with his speed and armor. I wanted to have him to level 4 but it was a little bit too expensive right now. But wven with level 3 he is still useful as he is my third summoner after fire / life.

Djinn Oshannus

He was always a real beast when combined with Alric. After Chaos Legion I broght him to level 2 for the Phase ability and he now still is unbelievable strong. And the best (so not for me as I owned him before): He is really cheap right now, so get you some before he will rise again!

Venari Wavesmith

Another card that was really strong before Chaos Legion and I think he never stopped being a powerhouse. With most water cards being melee, any additional armor ist still helpful. As he is really cheap right now, I leveled him to level 4 for the extra magic damage, even I can't use him right now with Keyla being only level 3.

Nerissa Tridawn

I really love magic monsters and this one is so great for high mana matches with the 3 magic damage and 9 life. I really think about renting Alric to be able to use magic water, because I think its still so mighty!

Deeplurker

Oh yeah, Deeplurker is a must level up to level 4 I think. With his 4 damage, 7 life and Opportunity I try to use him as often as I can when playing water.

Axemaster

I know he is a little bit expensive right now but I just couldn't help but getting one Axemaster. He is doing so much damage with Double Strike and with 4 speed he isn't really slow.

Wave Brood

Wave Brood is one of the great Chaos Legion cards out there. I mainly use him with a powerful tank in front and Wave Brood in the back to catch all fire. And he can stand there for quite some time with his 12 life!

Flying Squid

I leveled Flying Squid to level 4 mainly because the card is so cheap. Sometimes in high mana battles this cards make the difference when used in the second spot.

Cruel Sethropod

Cruel Sethropod is a really great tank in low mana battles. With 4 armor he can take some punches and let the damage dealers do her work!

Possible additions in the future

Torrent Fiend

Like in all my decks the level 0 card wwould always be a great addition in the future, because who dont need one more monster out there at no costs?

The Kraken

Yeah The Kraken is still a really great tank, but he is really pricey on the other hand.
