Share Your Battle Weekly Challenge! Feral Spirit!

This week's Splinterlands Share Your Battle Challenge is focusing on the Feral Spirit. The Feral Spirit is a card that I like to play especially in conjunction with the Silvershield Knight to boost its damage.

Theme of the Week: Feral Spirit

The rules and my setup

Weak Magic | Rise of the Commons
29 Mana Cap

Summoner: Tyrus Paladium - Provide shield for all my cards
Position 1: Shieldbearer - Taunt ability to absorb damage and protect my other cards
Position 2: Silvershield Knight - Gives a +1 melee attack boost to all my cards
Position 3: Battering Ram - Opportunity and benefits from silvershield knight's boost
Position 4: Silvershield Assassin - Double strike melee damage to the opponent's back with a boost from the silvershield knight
Position 5: Feral Spirit - Concentrate damage to the enemy's rear

Did my strategy work?

Yes, it worked pretty well in my opinion. The strategy was to basically target the opponent's back with melee damage.

Round 1: My opponent has a lot of weak health cards at the back. The Feral Spirit and Silvershield Assasin take out 2 of them.
Round 2: By the end of the round, my opponent is left with only 1 card - his Unicorn Mustang thanks mainly to the Feral Spirit and Silvershield Assasin combo.
Round 3: Opponent is vanquished pretty quickly given that I still have all of my cards while he only has one that is on half health.

You can watch the battle here and it is a rather quick one.

Would I do anything differently?

The strategy worked very well as my opponent wasn't expecting so much melee damage to target his back line. Improvements would be to include filler cards like the Furious Chicken. Apart from that, I am pretty happy with how the battle turned out.

My thoughts on the Feral Spirit

The Feral Spirit's main advantage is its speed. At 4 speed, it is almost one of the first cards out of the block, so if you protect it, expect it to do some damage at least.

It doesn't do the most damage but when you pair it with the Silvershield Knight and Silvershield Assasin, it can be quite an effective combo.
