INTRO

For as long as I can remember, I've been fascinated by the Lore of Splinterlands Monster NFTs Cards. These Lore are absolutely brilliant and for over 300 NFTs Cards and counting, I can only imagine the effort that went into them.

I believe that the Unique Visuals and Story Background of Splinterlands NFTs is the most exciting feature of this game and I would love to explore deeply into them.

A Lore Turned into a Short Story

So here's what I'm going to be doing, I want to improve my storytelling, suspense, drama, endings, and all those story spices by crafting more profound lore around each Monster in Splinterlands, Building off the Base Lore, I'll use Characters to delve into other Possible Scenarios and Highlight Environmental Background, Props, Actions and Growth of Characters.

I Hope you Have fun reading this Piece!

Original Lore: River Nymphs inhabit the rivers of the Splinterlands. Shy and reclusive, they usually remain hidden beneath the water's surface. However, they have a strong respect for life, and they have been known to aid those in need. They are also fiercely protective of their homes and will defend it if it is threatened.

Lore Exploration

Story Intro - Meet Our Characters

The young mage, whose name was Ewan, had always known that he was different. From a young age, he had shown an innate talent for magic, much to the surprise of his mundane parents. They had encouraged him to embrace his gift and had even hired a tutor to help him hone his skills.

As Ewan grew older, he became more and more fascinated by the ancient texts and magical artifacts that filled his tutor's study. He spent hours poring over dusty tomes and practicing spells, determined to become the greatest mage the world had ever known.

Eventually, Ewan's thirst for knowledge and adventure became too great to be contained within the walls of his tutor's study. He packed his bags and set off on a journey to explore the magical realm and discover all of its secrets.

The river nymph, whose name was Lila, had always lived a peaceful and solitary life in her underwater kingdom. She was the daughter of the river god, and her magical powers were great. But despite her divine ancestry, Lila was not content to simply sit idly by and watch the world pass her by.

One day, she decided to leave the safety of her underwater home and explore the land above. She emerged from the river in the form of a beautiful young woman, with shimmering blue-green skin and pointed elf ears. She wore a simple dress made of flowing water, and her long, dark-blue hair flowed around her like a living thing.

Lila quickly discovered that the world above was full of danger and excitement, and she reveled in it. She traveled from place to place, using her magical powers to protect those in need and defend against evil. She became known as a hero and a protector, and many people sought her help and guidance.

Ewan and Lila had never met before that fateful day⬇ when they found themselves facing down some eldritch creatures in the woods. But from the moment they met, they knew that they were meant to be together.

Story Backtrace -
Our First Meeting was Magical
: (By the Riverside)

Scene 1:

As the young mage stumbled back, his feet splashing into the cool water of the river, he knew he was in trouble. The five eldritch creatures that had emerged from the forest were closing in on him, their eyes glowing with an otherworldly hunger.

Scene 2:

The mage gritted his teeth and summoned all of his magical energy, flinging spell after spell at the creatures. But it was no use - their eldritch skin seemed impervious to his attacks.
The creatures stalked closer, their twisted bodies crouching low as they prepared to pounce. The mage's heart raced as he realized he had nowhere to run.

Scene 3:

Just when all hope seemed lost, a burst of water magic exploded from behind him, slamming into the two creatures that were about to attack. They let out a shriek as their skin began to smoke, and then they fell to the ground, dead.

Scene 4:

The mage spun around, his eyes widening in surprise. There, standing in the river, was the most beautiful creature he had ever seen. She was a water nymph, with flawless blue-green skin and pointed elf ears. Her long, dark-blue hair flowed around her slender waist like a curtain of silk, and her features were elegant and graceful.

Scene 5:

The Nymph gave the mage a Crooked grin and winked before casting a spell on an encroaching eldritch, wanting to take advantage of the new opening. The mage stared after her in awe, realizing that he had just been saved by the most amazing being he had ever encountered.

But there was no time to rest - the remaining two creatures were still approaching, their eyes fixed on their prey. The mage gritted his teeth and prepared to fight, determined to protect the magical nymph and himself.

Scene 6:

As the battle raged on, the clearing was filled with the sound of clashing spells and the roar of the eldritch beasts. But through it all, the Mage and the Nymph fought with all their strength, their bond growing stronger with each passing moment.

Scene 7:

In the end, they emerged victorious, their foes vanquished and the clearing was once again peaceful. The mage turned to the nymph, his heart full of gratitude and admiration.
"Thank you," he said, bowing deeply. "I don't know how I could have survived without your help."
The Nymph chuckled and waved her hand dismissively. "It was nothing," she said with a smile. "I couldn't just stand by and Watch you get eaten by those Ugly creatures. Besides, I think we make a pretty Good Team."

Scene 8:

The Mage grinned and nodded in agreement. He knew that he had just met the most amazing person - or rather, creature - he had ever encountered. And he had a feeling that their adventures together were just beginning.

....THE END.... 💞
