The Eggstravaganza Begins in Splinterlands!
For me, I love themed events in online games. It almost feels like a right of passage when playing web3 games for me at this point. For example in Splinterlands during the Eggstravaganza event, there are limited skins that are released and this may be the only time you can get them. So while I don't really utilize skins all that much, my FOMO tells me that I have to obtain these limited edition ingame items that I will never use.
But I guess that is the point though right? To get us player to spend our Glint on things other than the normal cards so that maybe less reward cards are printed eventually and the prices of those cards will be slightly higher on secondary because of it? Or I am just overthinking it completely.

So I am going to assume you know all that is new and all that is included in the Easter event!
Since I am so good at procrastinating I have stockpiled a little mound of Glint to spend. This was not intentional of me saving up for this event. This is just me using my xbot bot to play WILD and SURVIVAL the last 3 seasons or so and me travelling a lot and just forgetting to use my Glint. But that is over today!
It may not be a lot to you whales out there...
But for me, having over 400k Glint is a LOT for me. So come along for the ride and watch me probably piss it all away.
I do know I want 1 of each skin just to have.
My bad math is coming up with 72,400 Glint to buy 1 of each Skin. Okay not bad so far!
But I also want to try my luck with some chests.
I have my eyes set on the "Ultimate Chest" because I think it has a better 'bang for your buck' than the other 2.

Which should give me a 80% chance of hitting the jackpot at least once...
And turns out I need to stock up on more potions here as well!

PeakMonsters says that haul was worth $6.659, but I am not sure I buy that really
I guess we buy another 10 Ultimate Chests... just to make sure there isn't a jackpot waiting right around the corner. You can never be to sure. I bought more potions so I had enough for these Chest openings.
I guess Splinterlands really wants me to open Gladius Packs later too huh? Okay NOTED!
🧬 Skin Time 🧬
So I did pull a "Ekowen Sylphie Pastel Skin" which was a cool surprise! It is a Legendary Archon card that I do not have yet and costs just over $9. Although after looking it up, I kind of want that card now too. But I want 1 of each of the skins for sale as well.
I won't bore you with the payment screen for each skin. But just show you that I purchased them all!
Now all I need to do is collect the rest of the skins that are dropped in Chests...
So 10 more Ultimate Chests I think should do it!
That is what? 24 Reward Cards, AND a Captain Frankie Pastel Skin?!?! okay well I lucked out and got another Pastel skin and not even a dupe which is SOLID!

I have enough to buy 8 more Gladius Cases. Which means I have 14 total Gladius Cases now to open. So let's open them and see what I get!
The first card is a Gold Foil Rare?? I will take that any day of the week baby!
The Leftover Glint
With just over 69k Glint left I think it's time to waste it on more cosmetic items in Splinterlands!
$8 for the 2 skins I got from Ultimate Chests... that is not bad at all!
I only bought the Overseer skin cause I thought it looked awesome and it's a card I use a lot.
