EQUAL OPPORTUNITY & RISE OF THE COMMONS

  • EQUAL OPPORTUNITY : All Monsters have the Opportunity ability.
    • Keep low health monster infront.
    • Protect your low health with ARMOR or divine shield to ensure they able to tank more hits.
    • If both health are the same, place more useful monster behind it.

  • RISE OF THE COMMONS : All Monsters start the battle Poisoned.
    • No trick to this.
    • But note that this does not apply to summoner.

⏳ Initial thoughts

  1. Opponent analysis:
    • Same level player as me. Thus is really battle of strategy.
  2. Mana & Ruleset analysis:
    • Mid range mana game.
    • Life vs Life, hence Life does not have a lot of magic thus giving armor to my monsters will be a good suggestion.
  3. Battle plan:
    • Ensure my monsters are placed in a correct order due to opportunity ruleset.
    • Gonna use DIVINE SHIELD + ARMOR to prolong the survival of my monsters.
    • Buff my monsters with +1 melee.

LORNA SHINE

Provide divine shield to all my monsters.

Life vs Life match up, hence DIVINE SHIELD could be a better choice.

1️⃣st Position

Ideal for this play, with her SHIELD skill to reduce dmg taken.

Also with low mana play, opponent might not have enough dmg to take her out because of her SHIELD ability.

And she have 4 HP which can help to protect SILVERSHIELD KNIGHT with getting the +1 melee boost.

2️⃣nd Position

First target to this ruleset.

Gonna give it ARMOR and DIVINE SHIELD, most likely able to survive 2-3 hits. Allowing the other monsters to pick out the target first.

3️⃣rd Position

Limited MANA thus gonna utilise his INSPIRE to +1 to all MELEE.

Most HP thus gonna survive till the last, allowing all the monsters to fully benefit his INSIPRE.

In addition, he comes with a SHIELD himself and has a high speed.

4️⃣th Position

Gonna die 2nd. But PROTECTOR allow her and CREEPING OOZE to hold the fight for at least 3-5 hits.

5️⃣th Position

Gonna die 3rd. But with DIVINE SHIELD and FLYING, she might be able to put out a good fight before falling.

Not forgetting she will get the +1 melee buff, thus any rounds that she is alive is important.

6️⃣th Position

Gonna die 4th. Nothing special about this card at this league.

But 1 MANA for 1+1 DMG and 2 HP.

It's gonna help with the line up fighting power.

I place him behind of HARPY because HARPY likely to survive more turns than him allowing him to deal more dmg.

📌 Final thoughts

The gameplay plays out as i've expected, leaving CHAOS KNIGHT tanking for SILVERSHIELD KNIGHT.

TWO knights of SPLINTERLANDS give me the victory!
