Introduction of Earning and Investing | Splinterlands

Hello my name is Chrisma Yohan, you can call me Chrisma or Yohan (my childhood name).

I am Indonesian. To be exact, I live in Surabaya. Maybe the only thing you know about Indonesia is only Bali. I'm a mechanical engineering and I'm an employee in a Japanese company. I have a wife, her name is @mariettaprabowo. We got married in February 2022. I have a younger brother and now he already has a job in transportation company. I live in a good family, my parents worked hard for us and we love them.

Me and my wife bought a house in Surabaya, Jawa Timur before we were married. Now we are living here together. This is our great achievement, because we struggled to get this house, we calculated our outcome daily, weekly, monthly, and we had a rule to save every time we got our salary. Anyway, in my country, investing, saving, and money management isn't a habit. So what we did is very unusual and not mainstream, we should be able to refrain shopping and vacation. Because in Indonesia, a house is a primary needs for us.

I wanna tell you a lot about money. And the first time I became very interested in investing and saving was after I attended Tung Desem Waringin's seminar. after that I knew investment is very important for me, and for young generation in my country. I should share this to my families, to my friends, and everyone should know this. Then I learn a lot about that, I bought Rich Dad Poor Dad Book and another books of Robert Kiyosaki, bought some books of Tung Desem Waringin, practice to invest in stock markets, funds, saving some in a bank, until oneday my friend introduced me cryptocurrencies. 2017, my friend tell me about Bitcoin, about crypto exchanges, and explained me about some coins. Once, I didn't interest. After a month, I tried sign up an exchange, and put about $15 to buy some coins base on his recommendations. then I closed and uninstalled that application from my phone, because I didn't find "the fun".

okay, 2 years later, $DOGE is shown up with a fantastic price, every social media in the world talked about it, crypto and bitcoin. Then, I tried to reinstall an exchange application, login, and boom!! My money grown from $15 to $60. "Okay fix, I like it! I must learn more and more about a crypto, about bitcoin, what is blockchain, what is meme coin, etc", I said to myself. That was first time my interest about blockchain come up.

2020, NFT was booming, after De-Fi, I learned both, opened Binance exchange, NFT marketplaces, and etc. 2021, that was the rises of Axie Infinity, The play to earn games controls the markets and social media. Even I didn't play that game, but I like a game. So, I searched another game that similar, and then I found Splinterlands. I tried play, BUT, confused!😵 Practice and practice, join Splinterlands Discord, until I was invited to SPL Indonesia. I asked a lot of questions there, until I realized :

1. Splinterlands is play to Earn Game.
2. Splinterlands is NFT gaming.
3. SPS (Splintershard) isn't listed yet in binance or big exchange that I know on that time.
   THIS IS AN HIDDEN GEMS!
   That was a reason why I decided to sign up Splinterlands.

But the problem begin, I didn't consistent to learn more about battle, about SPS's use cases, about DEC, about HIVE. I left for a few months. But I still concern about the other coins. Somehow I suddenly saw SPL Indonesia Discord and start from there, I knew about HIVE ecosystem, about peakD, ecency, 3speak, splintertalk, etc.

That is my turning point to focus investing in hive ecosystems, including splinterlands and posting. I started to post about splinterlands, about my prewedding, and I shared it to my future wife (But now she is already my wife😁). He has her own peakD's account.
