Alpha Series Card #1 will blow up in value one day. The Goblin Shamin is undervalued, this will change when collectors become aware that it is the first card in the Alpha Series. First card of the Alpha series means this is the very first card of Splinterlands. If these cards were physical and sold in packs you would probably see this card on the wrapper. If you do not have this card in your collection you may want to invest in one. They are only $7.80 at the time of this post. I am not trying to pump sales volume here, I am trying to help my fellow Splinterlanders with awareness. Best of luck to everyone.

That's interesting. I never knew it was the first card. I bought some steemmonster starter packs when they launched but never played. I happen to have 1 goblin shamen. I wish I had more but not sure I am going to buy more.

Could you explain why is will be valuable? Just because it is old does not make it more value than any other alpha card

The card numbering system, this card is number one in the series. CARD #1. Each card was assigned a numerical number with a total of 58 cards in the Alpha series. The Alpha series and Beta series share the same numbering system but the difference is noted with an A or B after the cards serial number. The Beta Series also has 79 Cards instead of only 58 like the Alpha set.

Alpha Card Serial Numbers
1A-Goblin Shaman
2A-Giant Roc
3A-Kobold Miner
4A-Fire Beetle
5A-Malric Inferno
6A-Serpentine Soldier
7A-Pit Ogre
8A-Cerberus
9A-Fire Demon
10A-Serpent Of The Flame
11A-Elemental Phoenix
12A-Pirate Captain
13A-Spineback Turtle
14A-Crustacean King
15A-Sabre Shark
ect.
ect.
58A-Chromatic Dragon being the last card of the series.

The Beta Series uses the same assigned numbers but denotes the Beta series with a "B" following the cards number. Also the count goes higher than 58 cards in the Alpha series due to having 79 cards the Beta series.

1B-Goblin Shaman
2B-Giant Roc
3B-Kobold Miner
4B-Fire Beetle
5B-Malric Inferno
6B-Serpentine Soldier
7B-Pit Ogre
8B-Cerberus
9B-Fire Demon
10B-Serpent Of The Flame
11B-Elemental Phoenix
12B-Pirate Captain
13B-Spineback Turtle
14B-Crustacean King
15B-Sabre Shark
ect.
ect.

Hope this helps you understand why I think this card will be expensive one day. Its the first splinterlands card ever. You can find the numbering system at splintercards.com (thank you @tehox) on the corner of every card is its number in the series. If I am wrong please let me know. No one should be wrong and not told about it. Thanks
