Leveling up in P2E games effectively can earn players more money, depending upon the title in question it may serve a purpose or be rather pointless.

Today ill go over a few of the HIVE / WAX P2E titles I play with a level system & how their level system effects your earning potential.

If there is time ill touch on HIVE curation & a potential upgrade to my NFT raffle project Stash Pass.

Splinterlands

Many moving parts go into the ranked battle system of Splinterlands. Effectively your account doesn't level up just rank either increases or decreases based on performance.

What does increase in level in Splinterlands is your cards which depending upon your current rank you may or may not use to their full effect.

In guilds you level up buildings but that's not as commonly encountered so ill focus on the base game.

Keeping things extremely simple your Rank & account power determine your league tier. The league tier & the level of summoner card you play determines the subsequent level cap of the monster cards you can play in that match.

The colors at the top of the graph shown above represent Common, Rare, Epic, & Legendary monster cards. As the summoner level increases so to does the level of each rarity monster it can summon. This is of course if your at the appropriate League Tier to utilize them.

Though legendary cards are prized for their rarity in-fact common cards fully leveled up are often cheaper to buy or rent & honestly much more effective.

Its much better in my experience to build your team with less rare cards anyway especially when renting. As its a common practice to short renters in the last few days of the season to jack up the price of gold legendary card rentals.

So by building a team with rented common & rare cards is a little more time consuming but usually much cheaper.

I only hit gold tier 1 last season but effectively the rank as well as the cards in your inventory as well as the ones played all come into play when determining your DEC earnings per ranked match.

DEC earnings are also linked to a rewards pool more or less shared by everyone & refilled shortly after the start of each season.

According to the SPS whitepaper the earnings mechanism for SPS will function in a similar manor with ranked matches. This is of course after the airdrop ends which is the current distribution mechanism for SPS.

Given many folks that got into Splinterlands strictly for the SPS airdrop those same individuals may want to brush up on the games earnings mechanics.

The reason being even if they dont want to or lack the skills to play the game. Knowing what to look for when delegating SPS to another player can effect passive SPS earning potential.

Beast Gardens

Another TCG this time a WAX exclusive Beast Gardens has quite a bit of game involved with their level system.

See your accounts battle pass level in beast gardens ultimately determines your accounts earning potential.

You see my account at level 18 get the following boosts to my crypto earnings Alpha: 8.55% Harvesting: 13.00%.

The Alpha % Boost boosts BGALPHA earnings per match & the Harvesting % Boost applies to passive earnings via ownership specifically BGFOCUS / BGWATER.

A rather unique approach Beast Gardens Level system ultimately determines how profitable the game is all together.

Rising Star

This Game I do believe is currently my highest play to earn game account level wise.

Just recently unlocked my band & hit the 3rd game zone only took me a little over a year or so.

In rising star you use NFTs to boost your stats making it far easier to progress & thus earn crypto more efficiently.

Between the prizes for certain achievements like NFTs STARBITS & Packs. As well as the STARBITS & STARPRO earned via playing, not to mention the NFT sales.

Rising Star thus far has earned me just over $500 USD in revenue. One of the titles that while slow to start pays off when you keep at it.

Hashkings

Last but certainly not least for todays list I have Hashkings Avatar leveling system to highlight. In a manor of speaking like Splinterlands Summoner standing in as the players proxy in Hashkings your Avatar is what you level up.

Now your Avatars level determines a number of things in Hashkings like what max level is that you can upgrade water towers.

This also effects what joint NFTs you can craft.

The major impact of your avatars level & power is actually only realized in the Raids game type.

Players can utilize multiple avatars in any one raid & your awarded based upon their levels & power total when added together.

You level up your avatar by one of 2 ways either equip the avatar you wish to level up in game then smoke the NFT joints.

Or you can use the better method of leveling up your avatar & blend 2 of them in the forge. This method is better strictly because it increases your avatars power as well as level & power is just as if not more important then level when raids are concerned.

Again I'm going to cap the Hashkings level discussion here as I'm trying to make this less then 30 min read length.

Curation

Now those that are not that familiar with the HIVE ecosystem may not be aware so bear with me veteran HIVE users as I give the cliff notes version of curation.

Curation- The selection, organization, and presentation of online content, merchandise, information, etc., typically using professional or expert knowledge.

So basically on HIVE there are many tribes most of which have 1 or more accounts tasked with curation of quality content.

Depending on the curation account in question they may or may not have rewards associated with HIVE crypto delegation to these accounts.

The curation account in question usually outlines the rewards for delegation & what types of HIVE alts that you can delegate for aforementioned rewards.

Delegation to the right curation accounts can actually be quite profitable, so this is a very important aspect of HIVE. Which is why I feel new users should be aware of the opportunities provided by Curation & delegation.

Though you should read users content, if at all possible interact with & re-blog content you like. Authentic interaction has been a week point in the past, which is why I do so many giveaways designed to foster authentic user interaction.

So most of but not all HIVE play to ern games have curation accounts you can either delegate to or perhaps have your content curated by when appropriately hash tagged.

You can delegate either certain HIVE alts to those curation accounts or in the case of https://ecency.com/@risingstargame you delegate your vote weight. This can also generate a ROI its not a one sided transaction it pays to delegate correctly on HIVE.

Delegation

Ok this term ultimately encompasses wildly different functions depending upon what your delegating. As delegation is a huge portion of PoS & DPoS blockchain functionality it makes sense its used frequently with HIVE so much so it gets a wee bit complex even for myself.

So lets start off with delegating HP or staked HIVE alts, as I covered in the previous section certain curation accounts can have HP/ HIVE alts delegated to them for a steady ROI for the investor.

To delegate you start like the same way you would when hunting vampires & Steak them.

On HIVE engine for instance you will note certain tokens have a lock symbol on the tools for the coin. Like ONEUP can be staked for instance that increases your upvote in that tribes posts both for your content & when you vote on others content posted in that community.

In essence you delegate that power to a curation account they then take a % out & give you some of the revenue the account generates as a ROI in most cases. Same with HP which is basically functionally staked HIVE as far as delegation to curation accounts is concerned that is.

Now slightly different is Delegation of your accounts Vote power this is done on hive.vote.

Dont use hive.vote without understanding HP or how your account power functions on HIVE. HIVE account resources functionally are utilized on ever wallet conformation & can render your account unusable when it reaches 0%.

Like WAX resources the HP is necessary for playing most games or at least transferring their assets. Though when properly delegated to curation trails they utilize your upvote when your unable to generating rewards proportional to the account resources used.

The other form of Delegation you will likely encounter on HIVE or in Splinterlands with SPS fairly soon is Governance vote delegation. I dont think I should try giving the cliff notes to a function that literally can change the blockchain as its not something you should do without fully understanding how it functions.

I will say that SPS has player delegation fairly soon which would effectively pay the person delegating SPS more SPS if the person they delegated to plays more ranked matches or performs better in each match.

Yes I'm actually excited by something this boring what can I say (spread sheets & whitepapers I love em).

Chubbs Stash Pass VIPs?

Now I have noticed a tiny flaw in the design of stash pass raffles
either I have to stop minting or the odds get so diffused it would be near impossible to win towards the end.

This is when I had a thought how about more methods to win the raffle, something like a VIP pass for instance.

Rest assured I dont mint stash pass NFTs strictly to defuse odds which is why I thought to implement something like this. I truly want monthly winners & I produce so many because I enjoy making Cannabis NFTs.

Summery

Well ill admit to straying from the premise of P2E Games with leveling systems when I switched gears to curation & delegation. Effectively these topics on HIVE are very interchangeable seamlessly blending with one another.

You cant really get the full experience of games play to earn or otherwise without a community to support the project.

Due to everything on HIVE being integrated with a blockchain you miss a good portion of the earnings potential focusing on one or the other.

The topic needn't be investment or games, with anything blockchain being the same discussion you get a better understanding of the blockchain industry as a whole.
