Starting off with Splinterlands economic conspiracy theories (hypothesizes) backed by months of experience with the Splinterlands market.

After I explain my Splinterlands NFT market & my methods mostly driven by madness.

I will then go from economics to cannabis focusing on cannabis themed play to earn games / NFTs on WAX, HIVE & Weedcash.

Of course Ill do 3 Chaos Legion pack airdrop(s) as well as explain how I believe the Splinterlands packs function.

Splinterlands Pack econ 101

Since the roll out of Chaos legion just officially started with the general sale let me explain to newer users what the market looked like last year. I'm about to go all pepe Silvia so try & keep up.

In the before times the long long ago before the SPS airdrop began the untamed packs & Dice packs would sell for around $0.50 or more below market listing on secondary markets.

Safe to say the pack prices have reached normalcy, so why sell packs that cheap after just buying them.

Airdropped cards are the answer Card airdrops with a recipient % ratio that is effected by your odds based on the number of packs for that airdrop purchased from the in game market.
See how I have 164 packs effecting my card airdrop odds by increasing the probability of receiving one.

Though you may increase your odds there is no guarantee I am aware of that you absolutely will receive one. I was lucky enough with the last cards airdropped to actually make my NFT a WAX 1st edition. In this particular case on WAX my NFT mint number is first come first serve so first NFT sent to the WAX market = first edition.

That's just airdropped cards add to that just Holding packs gives you daily SPS airdrop points 300 per pack & the longer you wait more cards will be added making the packs worth more later on to open.

Why sell them under $4 in the short term then?

I short sell when the crypto I'm paid with is in a down market.

Selling for $3.90 in a down WAX market could mean I actually profit if / when the market price rally's. The inverse is also true so this is risky but when done correctly very profitable.

The savvy user can also simply pit the two markets against one another, this can be tedious but ultimately safer then my market fluctuation option.

Selling on WAX can be a better market but it takes longer that being said Nefty Blocks a WAX market allows you to mine NEFTY a WAX alt for selling on that market its a fairly big draw.

Above all the Chaos legion packs profitability is subjective there is no one right answer I tend to gravitate towards WAX but others may prefer HIVE markets.

If you take away but one thing let it be this.

Cards Airdropping odds 👆 are only affected by the packs purchased in game!!

Amass Forces (Splinterlands)

With the Chaos Legion packs hitting general sale the card market falls in price. Now it the time to construct builds you could not possibly afford before many of the new Chaos legion Cards are much better then previous cards.

Using the new summoners & new monsters you could be quite formidable in ranked matches. Its about working with what you have rentals help but shouldn't be relied upon entirely.

This card 👆 for example attacks every other turn but does 9 damage that ignores shields (mostly).

For god sakes this common card might as well be called god killer doubling damage against 10+ mana summons & adds 1 to its melee attack of 3.

So arm up for battle use this chaotic legion to amass formidable forces for battle.

Just a few examples of what feels like endless possibility.

Airdropped cards & their relation to Chaos legion packs

Every time they airdrop a Card in the Chaos legion colection outside the plague doctor it gets added from that point forward to all chaos legion packs.

You may now find for example Uriel The Purifier in all Chaos legion packs from here on out packs both on & off the market have the possibility now of containing one.

The Splinterlands packs are not minted pre determinate like most NFT packs it is a mechanic unlike any other I have encountered.

Knowing this helps explain how cards can be added to a pack in your inventory as well as how potions work.

Always use 5 of each potion they work, I have opened thousands of packs I know what I'm talking about here.

New airdrop card

The Average I calculated for packs sold per minute at the Hight of the general sale was between 500-1,000 packs sold off the in game market per min.

Likely by the time this is published this Card will have been airdropped the 3rd thus far from the Chaos packs. This is due to over 1,000,000 Chaos Legion Packs being sold in less then a day.

Cannabis NFTs & play to earns

I know its amazing I seem so put together for a pothead, but its true I'm high 365 days a year. Cannabis is legal where I live so Cannabis & NFTs be they collectables or Game items are a fascination.

Since Its been quite a while since I did a write up Featuring my favorite kind of NFTs, cannabis NFTs. Believe it or not I actually have a few Play to earn games to go over that are cannabis related. I know Cannabis can be a taboo subject & I ask that you keep an open mind. As I explore Cannabis NFTs where they are now compared to just 1 year ago.

Last year at this time most cannabis NFTs where collectibles nothing to them more then subjective appeal. Which is fine but its not sustainable, sensing this the market has since shifted from one of Subjectivity to that of utility.

Yes cannabis collectibles with a use case, a purpose, & potential reward for ownership.

Today ill discuss 4 such Dapps with cannabis NFTs Weedcash, Hashkings, Green Rabbit, & Non Fung Drugs.

Hash Kings

A HIVE based play to earn that has really impressed me on how quickly it has risen from its inauspicious beginnings to where it is currently.

They have some weed Scientists up in here, more weed economist & Blockchain integration specialists, but there's some science to it one would imagine.

Above is the flow chart for the in game economy, like Splinterlands some of the assets needed to play can be rented for fairly cheap such as land plots & water towers.

I use the cheapest & least effective land plots but they work for what I need, playing can be broken up into 2 categories.

The first & most simplistic Gardening planting NFT seeds to the corresponding land plot, watering & waiting to harvest.

Once grown it can be Harvested for one of the 3 Hashkings Cryptocurrencies BUDS. As I said you need to water this is done via their other crypto HKWATER obtained either by trade or produced via water towers.

The last crypto is MOTA obtained via the HK pool in game & used primarily for staking in game.

Other then land seed & water you need a farmer avatar NFT, since a bud grower IRL is a jack of all trades its fitting that the avatar is used with joint NFT crafting the other game type Raids & farming.

Now with a blend use case in the way of forge there are a few ways to level up your Farmer. I still prefer smoking joint NFT crafted in game. Higher the level your avatar bigger raids bosses you can face better joints you can craft & you may upgrade Water towers further.

What the difference a year makes when I spotted Non Fung Drugs 8 months ago you best believe its not the horse I would have bet on.

Started off with a simple but elegant design for a blend use case road map revolving around Nefty blocks & NFT blending. That simplistic model later evolved to a full fledged WAX play to earn.

Not actually based around cannabis but the projects founders also run a successful California dispensary. Other then sly nods like the use of the number 420 almost too much Green Rabbit isn't about cannabis.

What its is is an excellent WAX play to earn with Staking Crafting Mission game types & new monetized free mini games.

This new platformer mini game (like Mario) makes this a free play to earn as you can earn SHELL their WAX alt for free playing it. Their Mini Game marks the third WAX blockchain game made with the Unity Game engine.

The missions game type is too expensive for me to test starting at over $100 for the Forager NFT required to play.
