All about the "Conflict" card called "HANV" (A Necromancy Commander)

It's been a while since I've talked about one of the cards from "Conflict," and honestly, I hadn't seen this spectacular card called "HANV." Yes, it doesn't have a very creative name, but its design is truly impressive. It's been a while since I've liked a card as much as this one, and the truth is that as soon as I saw it, I decided to detail it and write about it, since not only is it impressive in design and illustration, but it can also be lethal on the battlefield. So today, I'll show you why.
So, in this post, I will explain how this "Archon" could be played, what kind of combinations could be executed to maximize its potential and effectiveness on the battlefield. Of course, I will try not to make this post too long, as I don't want to sound boring and I want to keep it fluid and dynamic so that you can understand everything. this also makes me focus on ensuring that newer players can understand combinations, strategies, and more.
So, if you want to learn everything about "HANV," I hope you stick around until the end of this post, but without further ado, let's get right into it:

The Strategy with the passive skill "Deflect"

Okay, the first thing to know about this card is that it controls two "Bloodlines," like most of its predecessor Archons. This means that not only does it have access to fire equipment, but it can also control an entire legion of "Undead and Goblins," which gives it incredible versatility. However, this is not all it has to offer, not to mention its impressive design, which undoubtedly overshadows the rest.
But what I like most is all the different situations in which you can play with "HANV" and combine it to create a very powerful defensive front, but with an offense that can be lethal if we know how to take advantage of it. But don't worry, I'll give you some context:

The Deflect Effect: First, you need to know what this skill does, and the truth is that it works very simply, as it neutralizes or reduces damage to zero from the following sources (Corrosive Ward, Magic Reflect, Thorns, Return Fire, and Blast).
What kind of strategy can be used?: You should be aware that this is a very "defensive" combination for the most part, so it is most common to place our best "Undead and/or Globlins" options at the front, which gives us the freedom to play cards with high damage, knowing that they will not receive splash damage, punishing defensive decks that focus on playing with splash damage.
With that said, not everything is rosy. The Archon itself is impressive, but we must choose our battles wisely. By this, I mean the perfect setting in which to play it, so I will explain this in detail below so that you don't have to look any further.

Explosive Weaponry: This is one of the natural rules where we can comfortably play with "HANV," since the adjacent damage from "Blast" cannot harm us, so it is best to play when we have it in front of us.
Briar Patch, Counterspell and Fire & Regret: This combination of rules gives specific abilities such as (Thorns, Magic Reflect, and Return Fire), which focus on returning part of the damage received by the cards that possess them, but with HANV, we have a total advantage over them, so we must place it on the field under these conditions.

The ultimate mastery (Synergy of "Double Strike" and "Swiftness")
However, it's not all about defense and the possibility of reducing damage to zero. We also need an offensive boost that allows us to take control of the battle. This is where your "Summoner Tactics" come into play, striking a balance between the defense we can have and the great offense we can achieve, even if it means empowering a single card.
To help you understand better, don't worry, we'll give you the context and explanation for this, but first, we need to understand what tactics it has, so that we can then consider the combinations we can execute:

- The "Double Strike" and "Swiftness" abilities: The first thing to note is that our "Archon" has the tactic of choosing a card from his side of the field and maximizing its power with two crucial abilities to take the lead in the attack. One is "Double Strike," which gives him the opportunity to attack up to twice in the same round. The other is "Swiftness," which gives us +1 speed point.
Now we know what his tactic does, but how can we apply it? That's precisely what I'm going to explain, giving you an idea of what you can do to maximize not only damage, but also take the lead in battle even before it begins:

- Tactics + Ambush: This is one of the most powerful combinations you can apply with "HANV," since it allows you to choose one of the cards before the battle begins to give it the two abilities we mentioned earlier, giving us the advantage. However, the best part happens when we give it a card with the "Ambush" ability. let's assume it's "Rush Townsend," which is a very powerful card with a maximum attack of up to 5 range attack points, causing 10 points of damage before the battle begins and then another 10 points after it begins, since it is so fast that it will surely be one of the first to attack, giving it a total of 20 points of damage, and only in the first round.

Conclusion

With this combination, we not only have damage, but total control on the battlefield before it even starts. Of course, this is the first of several other options that come to mind, as we can combine this with cards that have "Poison," for example, or "Cripple." So, it's not only a fearsome card, but also incredibly balanced, as it gives us defense as well as a great attack.
