How can I easily calculate the current price of a deck in Splinterlands?

Best regards Splinterlovers đź’š

The value of card decks in the game is something very important to keep in mind, especially since there isn't much information available on this topic. In other words, if there's a market for them, you can calculate the value manually, but it’s a bit tedious and time-consuming, and these days information travels very fast—we need speed in everything we do. So, while doing some research, I discovered an incredible platform that really simplifies everything we need to know—not just the value of decks, but of every card in that set.

This certainly makes things much easier for new users. Being able to quickly view the market with a single click and see the prices of cards from a specific set can help many players plan a clear strategy for what they want and move forward as soon as they have the necessary resources (capital) available to do so. I have to be very honest up front: Splinterlands isn’t a cheap game, at least when considering the cards in the current META. I’m not saying you have to play with a full deck no matter what, or that you’re obligated to buy them, because that’s not true—the “Rental Market” is always active, and renting them is very simple and they’re affordable, but this post is aimed at those who want to buy cards and build a sort of business in Splinterlands with as little risk as possible.

So, if you want to know how to do it the easy way, stick around until the end of this post—you'll see that every player, whether experienced or not, will really like this tool.

What is Splintiers and how does it work?

Splintiers is a website created by @bravetofu, who deserves credit for building a platform that simplifies the process of manually searching for cards, checking their prices, adding them to your cart, and handling all the other details involved. This tool was created to provide us with different “tiers” of cards so we can understand their utility in the game, which is great because it helps you better balance things when you’re building a deck from scratch.

So, to go into a little more detail about that—since you already know what “Splintiers” is all about (which you can access by clicking HERE, by the way)—it’s about understanding how these two modes work:

Splintiers Components

  • The Tier List: As I mentioned earlier, here you can see the cards in a “Tier List,” where S-tier cards are the most powerful and dominant, A-tier cards have a strong impact on strategies, B-tier cards offer solid options, but where you have to be selective, and finally C, where most cards are very specific and situational and can’t be used all the time. This helps you choose wisely which cards you want if your focus is on buying, though you can also use it to select your rentals and be more efficient in that regard.

  • Deck Builder: This is where your prior knowledge of the “Tier List” becomes incredibly useful, because, as I said, you can use it to carefully select the cards you need, but not only that—you can also see the actual value of any set you choose. I’m not just talking about whole numbers; you can see how much each card costs, which helps a lot. And now, the manual work of adding them to the cart—something we’ll eventually do—but with clearer numbers.

How much does a set of “Conclave Arcana” cost?

That’s the topic of this post, but beyond that, here you can start figuring out what you need and, most importantly, how much “capital” is required. I’d also like to see a feature that shows rental prices, but maybe the developer will add that later. On the other hand, let’s take a look at the prices of various SETS:

Conclave Arcana:

As you can see in the image, the complete deck for the “Arcane Conclave” set costs approximately $1,056.57, including the current “Core,” “Promo,” and “Rewards” cards. Of course, there are other factors to consider, such as the “Tier” cards you want; for example, I selected all of them, but you can start with whichever tier you prefer. Additionally, you have the option to choose a “League”; I selected “Silver” because it’s the intermediate league, offering the best balance between newcomers and more experienced players, which is ideal for anyone looking to get started with the game.

Escalation:

The same applies to the Escalation set. Since it currently consists of only 43 cards, the price of the complete set—with all tiers selected and nothing excluded, and of course including the “Silver” tier—is $254.14, which is, of course, much lower, but as they continue to add cards—such as the 6 from “Conflicts”—the number will increase, and therefore the value of the complete deck will as well, so these are details that must be taken into account.

Conclusion

This platform is amazing. I’d already been thinking about something like this to manage our assets more efficiently—in this specific case, our cards. So, if you’re still having trouble building decks, figuring out their costs, or choosing cards, this platform really simplifies things for you. Plus, it’s very intuitive; anyone can use it without any trouble.
