Top 3 | My favorite legendary cards from "Chaos Legion" (Part 2) ♥

It is a pleasure to be here and create content of one of the games that I am most passionate about playing, which of course is @splinterlands, in that sense, in this opportunity I will publish the 2nd part of one of the posts I created a few weeks ago about my favorite "Legendary" cards of the "Chaos Legion" edition, since as I commented in my last post, I promised a second part, however, if you haven't seen the 1st part yet, you can click HERE to see it and take a look at these spectacular cards and their usefulness on the battlefield.

To cover the analysis of these cards and their features, I will start by detailing from the most important to the least relevant, according to how they can be used in battle and how they can truly serve many of the players who battle day to day in "Splinterlands". I must emphasize that this is my opinion, imagining several scenarios of how with these monsters we could increase our chances of winning, however, I would like to read your comments about it and if you have used some of these cards on the battlefield.

This card is in the 1st position of this 2nd part of legendary cards for many reasons, as it is an incredibly powerful card adapting to any field and set of rules in battle, on the other hand, its abilities and intrinsic characteristics allow it to be very versatile and also feared for those who dare to face it, Moreover, due to its great attack power and speed, it represents a serious problem for any average player, taking into account that speed in the game wins important battles and more if it focuses on defeating the cards with the least amount of life points in the field, which usually support the whole team to shine.

This card of course has some weak points, however, its speed allows it to be a problem to reach it even for any card, at least for the "range and melee" attack types, since the magic attacks can reach it and damage it seriously, preventing it from defeating the weakest monsters of the opponent's formation, however, this action that I have mentioned can happen very late, because in most of the occasions, if not all, "Lira the Dark" will always attack first, so it is a tough nut to crack.


Design

The design of this card is spectacular, as it is really new and unique in its kind, its finishes, colors and clothing, make this illustration an exceptional work of art, having the perfect silhouette of a dangerous woman who stalks her prey at night as the powerful vampire she is, also in her image it is noted that she has an incredible power of the shadows, manipulating them creating daggers and / or swords from the same darkness, which can cut in seconds and at long distance to any human being. On the other hand, they have been one of the designs that I liked the most in the whole game and that makes a perfect reference to the Splinter that belongs.


Main stats

The main stats of this card are really amazing in just its level 1, since it is one of the cards with more speed and power that I have seen from such a low level, even so, to summon it only requires 7 points, which is a quite acceptable amount of mana, in addition its abilities also give it a superiority position to the rest. In this sense, this card has a very good amount of life points amounting to +6, it does not have a shield, but I do not think it really needs it, on the other hand, it has a super human speed of +6 points, in addition to the powerful +2 points of ranged attack in just its level 1.

On the other hand, while we raise this fabulous card up to the last level which is 4, its characteristics remain almost intact, except for its powerful attack points of range that, you go up to reach the fabulous +4 attack points, something really great and amazing. In this sense and based on its main statistics, this card in its level 1 represents a serious threat to any Splinter in the game, since its life points and speed are the same from level 1 to 4

Abilities

This is one of the sections of the cards that I like to highlight the most and, thanks to this we can see the great power that the cards really have, so, I will proceed to detail each of the skills that this card has and you will see why it has its deserved 1st place in this fabulous top 3.


  • Opportunity: This is one of the abilities that I like to use the most in my strategies, since it always takes by surprise any opponent on the battlefield. This ability focuses on attacking monsters with the least amount of vital points on the field, making them easy prey for the speed and attack range that "Lira the Dark" possesses.

  • Snare: This is an ability that is often underestimated by some players, however, it is a very good one, taking into account that cards with the ability to "Fly" are often a problem for cards with the type of melee attack that we often play. In this sense, this ability allows to trap in a powerful net this type of cards with the aforementioned ability, depriving them of flying and falling at the mercy of the frontal attack.

  • Swiftness: This ability is amazing and makes "Lira the Dark" much more powerful, since it gives the whole team, including herself, +1 point of speed, giving her an overwhelming total of 7 points. If you do not see how powerful this is, believe me it is a mistake, Lira, with only her speed can win many battles in the company of her teammates in death.

Final Appreciations

Finally, Lira the Dark is a really powerful card that from its lowest level can be quite difficult to defeat even for those with stronger level decks, since its speed is usually seen in cards with a really high level. It's definitely a card I would focus on leveling up.

This card occupies the 2nd position in my top 3, as it is really powerful and with abilities that can very easily neutralize any monster on the field, especially those that focus on attacking the last card of any opponent's lineup, in addition, another thing that I must highlight and that I did with "Lira" as well, is the incredible speed that this card has, which, although it is inferior to the previous one, taking into account the amount of mana needed to summon "Iza the Fanged", is really incredible.

Another feature worth highlighting about "Iza" is that it is just as versatile as "Lira", which allows us to use it in virtually any field and/or set of battle rules, so it has a very low barrier of denial or impediment to not showing its power on the field. Certainly, it has notable weaknesses, taking into account that the amount of its life points is really low, however, it can represent a problem for those monsters that possess a ranged or melee attack type, all this thanks to its speed. If we take into account all its potential and we know how to play it well, "Iza the Fanged" can cause serious problems to many Splinters in the game, but the important thing is that we must protect it at all costs.


Design

The design of this card is also very peculiar, making a very good reference to the Splinter it belongs to. On the other hand, the colors, finishes and perfect shading, in addition to the silhouette of Iza, also make this design a real gem, I really loved it and more because it makes a special emphasis on the jungle and how it can control at will all the environment locking its prey in a dead end, paralyzing it and serving as a toy or dinner thanks to the snake skills it possesses. The design team of "Splinterlands" is really excellent and do an exceptional job, where they encourage more and more people to want to play the game with these impressive designs.


Main stats

The main stats of "Iza the Fanged" are very similar to "Lira the Dark", although with certain differences of course, however, for many reasons which I will detail below, make this card a well-deserved 2nd place in this top. For example, the really low amount of mana needed to summon "Iza" to the field is great, since it only takes +4 points to bring a legendary type card like this to the field. In addition, its +3 points of life, as well as its +4 points of speed, from its level 1 to 4 do not change, which brings in turn some weaknesses, but also certain strengths.

Although, just like "Lira", this card increases its ranged attack power as we level it up, which is great, reaching a maximum of +3 points of ranged attack which, for a card with a low mana amount like this one, is really strong. Additionally and to finish this section, up to this point it may seem that "Iza" looks a little weak, but in reality its strengths besides the easy access to any amount of battle mana, are its abilities that we will see in the next section.

Abilities

Again, this is the section I like the most, as here we experience the true power and usefulness of a card in "Splinterlands", so, I will start detailing each ability of this card which is what really makes it incredibly strong and an amazing addition to the "Earth Splinter":


  • Sneak: In my opinion this ability needs no introduction and most players at this point should imagine what this ability does on the battlefield, still, for those new to reading this post I will explain what it can do. Cards with this ability focus on attacking the last card of our opponent's formation, something that is great and that starts with the most basic attack of the game which is the frontal Melee, however, what makes "Iza the Fanged" special, is its ranged attack type, which allows it to destroy its prey from a distance.

  • Scavenger: This ability is one of my favorite in the game and I really try to use it in many of my strategies in the game. The way it works is very simple, but its effect can drastically change the fate of Iza in battle and not only that, but the course that this can take in its development, all this is because every time a monster is defeated and leaves the battlefield, our fabulous card gains +1 point of additional life, something incredible and that, if we know how to play the card correctly, can increase the chances of winning without a doubt.

  • Stun: Last but not least, there is the "Stun" ability, which when "Iza the Fanged" manages to hit an attack against its target, it has a high probability of being stunned and not being able to attack in the next round of the battle. Now, if we combine these 3 skills and imagine a scenario in which Iza, thanks to his speed, manages to hit an attack, he can give us an incredible advantage in the remainder of the battle.

Final Appreciations

Finally, this card deserves the great 2nd position of this top because of its easy summoning access, which allows us to adapt it to almost any strategy and can also be a real problem for several Splinters in the game. However, unlike "Lira" which has the 1st position of this top, it has very few health points and can be an easy prey for any magic attack. However, despite this, I find it an excellent card to level up over time.

Baakjira occupies the 3rd and last position of this top of legendary of the new edition of "Chaos Legion", the reason why it has this position is because it is not a card that can damage the monsters of my opponent as the previous "Lira and Iza", however, what this fabulous card can do is to be a really powerful and resistant "Tank" that can withstand a good number of attacks delivered by our opponents. It is especially a tank that can diminish the impact of magical attacks, it also has the ability to slow down the speed of my opponent's attacks, which is great and can provide a lot of advantage when fighting.

On the other hand, and at much higher levels, it acquires regenerative and support abilities for the whole team, which makes this monster not only a fabulous tank, but also an incredible support, and we can play it in many ways so that it can have the best chances of survival in the field in the company of our formation, but, what we must be careful about is that, like all cards our "Baakjira" has very notable weaknesses, even greater than the 1 and 2 cards of this top, so we must play it very well because, if we play it in an incorrect set of rules, it can cost us the battle.


Design

The design of this card is really impressive, it is a simple design, but very well done, with a spectacular blue color, excellent shading and finishes and a very challenging eye design, making a perfect reference to a real beast of the deep sea. This card is one of the largest "Blue Whale" ever seen in the Splinterlands universe, its imposing presence and size eclipses even some of the most majestic dragons and although it cannot attack, it can defend itself very well, having a really resistant armor to many attacks. This is undoubtedly another work of art that I have loved to highlight in this incredible top of legendary cards.


Main stats

This card has really excellent statistics, of course referring to its colossal tank position and resistant to a large number of attacks and with a very low amount of summoning mana of only 6 points, on the other hand, although it does not have its own type of attack, its defense is the best virtue and this is reflected in its powerful life points that, from its level 1 are +11 points, now in its level 2 and 3 its vitality increases, having that for level 2 are +12 points and level 3 +13 points of life. Now talking about his last level, which is the strongest, his vital points shoot up to +16 points, being a big problem for any Splinter who wants to face this beast in battle.

Finally, it does not have any kind of shield and in my opinion it does not need it, since its armor is so strong that its resistance and protection is directly reflected in its life points, in addition to this, for being a beast of an incredible size, its speed is only +2 points, something that has a lot of logic, since the biggest cannot always be the fastest moving, so its main stats make a lot of sense and its great resistance in the field together with its abilities that I will detail in the next section, make "Baakjira" an incredible creature deserving of this 3rd place.

Abilities

We come to the section that I like to talk about the most, you all know that this is where we see the true potential of a card, so, based on this I will detail the incredible abilities that "Baakjira" has in the game:


  • Void: This ability focuses on weakening the impact of any magical attack that can be propelled to it, so, taking this into account the best opportunity to summon "Baakjira" to the board, is when we can know that the types of magical attacks take over the field, in this way our chances of winning will increase if our beast is able to withstand the largest number of attacks that our opponent can propel him.

  • Slow: Everyone should already know this fabulous skill, which is really great and can give us a great advantage on the battlefield, as it focuses on slowing down the speed by -1 points of the entire opponent's lineup, giving our entire team the opportunity to take the lead in the attack.

  • Strengthen: This is an ability that helps our entire team to strengthen their vital points, giving +1 additional point of life for each card on our side of the field. At this point we know that our beast, besides being able to defend itself, is also a great support and help for our whole team, and if we manage to combine it really well, it can be a much more powerful and resistant beast than it seems.

  • Heal: This ability should also be known by many players, as it focuses on regenerating in each round the vital points of "Baakjira", this is achieved at level 3 and although it does not seem really new "Baakjira" can become a really strong and resistant tank for any opponent, as long as we can summon it in the best conditions and battle rules.

Final Appreciations

Baakjira is an amazing card and I really thought it deserved this 3rd place, also to define its positions, I take into account the mana barrier to summon it and these 3 cards have a very good mana to be able to enter in the most complicated lineup we can imagine. Even so, I hope you can appreciate the abilities of this great card, which in my personal opinion is worth leveling up, as it is a great addition to the "Water Splinter".

Before finishing this post, I want to tell you that this is another group of cards that in my opinion are the strongest of the legendary team of the "Chaos Legion" edition and for which I decided to make a 2nd part having a total of 6 powerful cards. However, there are still very strong legendary cards in this edition and that, of course I did not highlight in this post, but later I could make a publication detailing the functionality and features of the rest of the cards evaluating their pros and cons.
