Maxing My Chaos Legion Deck

Overview

Today is the day I start working on maxing my Chaos Legion deck. I say working on because I will use bids where there is enough of a different in the price. This may go over a couple post as next week I'll do a follow up on where I am. If I haven't been able to finish by then I'll do weekly updates until my Chaos Legion deck is maxed out.

PeakMonster

As you probably know I love the PeakMonster site and the first thing I did for this adventure is to activate the PeakMonster premium feature. I've been wanting to do this since they launched the premium. Since I've pull all my card off the rental account to level up and use. I'll be using the rental feature PeakMonsters has to rent out my Riftwatcher cards until I can get to the point of starting to max them out.

My starting point.

As a starting point for how much I will need I used Splinter cards missing bcx tool. As you can see I need over $4k worth of card but I will not buy all the Chaos Legion cards esp summoners right now. I also still have one Chaos Dragon still on the rental account some how it got missed when canceling rentals.

I also "loosely" plan to sell my gold foil cards unless the ones I have leveled up are cheaper to finish level then leveling the regular foils I didn't start leveling. I say loosely because if I can max out my CL and reward cards without selling my gold foil cards I will. This will leave the gold foil and riftwatchers to be able to rent to earn a little income.

Splintercards Estimates

I have move all but that one lone chaos dragon and my riftwatchers cards back to the main account those will be moved as I have the resource credits to move them. I usually keep over half my resource credits delegated to the rental account to run which I pulled back to be able to purchase cards.

This is also another reason I plan to use PeakMonsters for rentals as it doesn't require the resource credits the way splex.gg does.

Now we purchase $4K credit through Splinterlands, I have $1K sitting in reserve if need to max out my deck as my allotment is $4-5K but if I can save $1k for the movie announcement I would like to.

$4k in Credits

Evidently the game can't display that many credits!!!!

PeakMonsters

As you can sell I have two PeakMonsters tabs open, the first is on the My Cards page so I can easily see how many BCX I need for a given card. The second is on the market place and I will be starting in grid view and using the filters looks for chaos legion reward cards. I may use the compare page as it has some nice compare feature but in this case I know what I'm buying and I'm not show for deal on cards in general.

PeakMonsters Grid View

The other tab I have the same filters set so I can view the card I own. I do also have the owned filter applied as I am renting most of these cards right now as well.

PeakMonsters My Cards

There are two specific pieces I will be using here. I will combine using the card starts and card level feature.

PeakMonstersMyCardsDetails.png

So I have a level 8 Blood Maker from the level up window you can see I need 79 card to go to level and then from stats window that to go from lv 9 to lv 10 is 100 cards. This means I need 179 card to max out my Blood Maker.

We head back over to the market page and I like to use the bulk buy feature.

Market Bulk Buy

From here we can see it will cost me .013 per bcx to buy 179 card out right.

So we check what bids look like.

Market Bids

If we use market bid we can pick them up for .011 after the other bids are fill or we can put a bid in for .012 to fill them.

So the difference of .001 for 179 is 0.179 so .18. While I don't think this is enough to stop me from buying the cards out right. Knowing I need right around $4 - $4.5 to max out my CL and reward card ever penny or dollar I save gets me closer to maxing out my deck for the price I have to put in the game right now.

Haha!!!
I just noticed I picked the first card on the page and they weren't the same. I check the Blood Maker is .013 to buy in bulk the same as the Ever-Hungry Skull but his high bid is .012. So in that case I will likely buy the Blood Maker out right.

Time to Buy.

While I used two different card in the example (lets hope I don't make that mistake when buying card because it is very easy to do!!!! This was a demonstration of process I will follow for buy my cards to max out my Chaos Legion deck.

Conclusion

So time to hit the market and start making some purchases and bids!!! The next post will show where I am at with my progress, how much I ended up spending so far, and what I have left. Stay Tuned.
