Daily Quest - My soul is in the air

There's not much to say about the Flying mission, but recently, there have been some changes in Tournaments. If you're a regular participant, you'd probably know that all tournaments created by @sps.tournaments now have free entry with reduced rewards, making the competition much tougher. After trying a few tournaments, I've decided to stop participating altogether. My deck is just not on par with those of the top players anymore, so there's no point wasting my time.





During my leisure time, I've been looking into some of the chaotic proposals or pre-proposals. One of them caught my eye - the SPS Governance Proposal - Require KYC for DAO Sponsored Tournaments. It's quite obvious that this is a way to allow only real players to participate, yet surprisingly, more than half voted against it. Quite ridiculous, if you ask me.

I've read the arguments from the opposition, and of course, they have their reasons. But for me, voting in favor was simple. I haven't done anything wrong; I'm just playing a game. Proving that I'm a real person shouldn't be a big deal. However, dealing with KYC procedures in many exchanges can be a hassle. It's like they're deliberately making it difficult for genuine users. Take Coinbase for example. I submitted my passport details, and they still rejected me. I can never reach a real person at Coinbase's customer service. Coinbase is truly a terrible exchange. FTX, on the other hand, does a much better job. Also, the responsibility of safeguarding personal information is often poorly managed by many exchanges. But is it really that bad? Many traditional banks aren't much better either. My gut feeling tells me it's just the beneficiaries protecting their own interests. But in the capitalist world, those with capital get to call the shots. If you have the means, go ahead and spend money to influence the outcome.
