New Updates Announcements in Splinterlands

I trust y'all going okay today? As for myself I came across some updates on the Splinterlands official discord and thought to share some of the updates with you guys on here. This particular announcement was shared on the 28th of April 2026. A SPS rental market update was introduced and this new update supports bids and asks for the rentals. It also has an automatic expiration in 7 days. There is also an auto-renewal option for the active rentals. There was also an update that stated that with the use of the Phoenix Ash in the Survival, cooldown timers can be either removed or reduced on cards that have been defeated. Other updates include Legendary Archons being more expensive than the Standard units. Also, the Mag and Vin skins have been distributed to users who are token holders. Additionally, Winterfest boxes that are unopened will now be able to grant the correct skins when opened. The sketched skins consist of Gold and Black foil versions, Lore and Updated art. There is a notification now when a new skin is being received from another user. Under the home tab, a new box has been added where players can now view announcements and this very update is really epic and you can see it under the Home tab.
Also, the tournament images are now to be hosted by the Splinterlands team so to submit your image, players need to contact support. The weekly Fortune draw is now able to track Survival-based entries and Players match history will now only display history of the present season unlike the former which displayed all-time. I also noted that the Arcane notifications now last for 15 seconds before they expire on mobile. The burn card now displays with a new design. There is also a newly improved end-of-season survival rewards display.
