Good day and how's your week going so far? It's been a hectic week for me tho but as usual the grinding don't stop. So I noticed a new announcement while surfing through the Splinterlands Discord server tonight and decided to share them here for the benefit of those who are yet to see them. The first most recent announcement I saw was that maintenance has been completed. Also, it was stated that new updates and fixes have been added and this is one quality I so love about the Splinterlands team, the devs are always putting in work to make the super user-friendly at all times. Some of the newly added features include
💡Automatic burning of SPS to get more GLINT: This feature can be accessed by players in the Silver league. This feature also helps in doubling players contribution in the calculation of their GLINT.
💡Burn Leaderboard for SPS: There is now a dashboard available for players who burn their SPS rewards so they can see where their name falls in the Leaderboard.
💡Runi Avatar Badge: New Avatar badge made for players

The second announcement stated that Music NFTs which were available in Phase 1 have now been sold out. The Music NFTs which are called Splintervibes willl have the second phase launched on the 24th of February. The GLINT and DEC shop Music NFTs which were available in the first phase have now been sold out. The tracks that came in the first phase are Ash and Ice,Oh Korina, Tower full of secrets, Somewhere in the shadow sigh. These Music NFTs now belongs to the community as they can be purchased by trading them or via the secondary market. Meanwhile , the minor chest drops, frontier jackpot drops and the land resource claims are still available. So when Phase 2 is launched, Phase 1 NFTs in the shop will be burned. Phase 1 jackpot will also be taken out and burned too. The finalised supply cap will then be locked and there will be no restocks. The team also teased some of the Splintervibes songs. So keep your fingers crossed for Phase 2 on 24th Feb. It's about to go down.
