Bagged two fresh cards in the Modern League Chest Loot

It is definitely true that consistency is a major factor to consider when you think of achieving success. I have actually put it to practice and can boldly say it is the truth. Lately I have been active on Splinterlands both in the FRONTIER league and the MODERN league. Today I claimed 100 SPARKS in the FRONTIER league spinwheel and got extra 15 SPARKS as bonus. I’m actually excited that my SPARKS has exceeded 10k. The total number of SPARKS I now have is 10,725. From what I learnt the SPARK SHOP has been expanded so players now have more options of items to purchase and the items that were recently added include a fresh Splintervibe track and a Frontier Energy. So after fighting series of battles in the MODERN league , I was able to unlock the BRONZE I rank when I hit 700 points and guess what? I was able to unlock a CHEST LOOT of rewards which consisted of 5 rewards. The rewards included 2 cards, one a RARE card and the other a COMMON card, one ALCEMY potion charge, an entry into the weekly draw and one energy boost. Another thing that made my day is the fact that I the cards were brand new cards to my collection as I haven’t owned them before. The name of the first card is called SURGEBLADE while the second card is called the SWAMPWROUGHT. Both of them are Level one cards.

The SURGEBLADE is a card that falls under the DJINN bloodline. It has a special ability with a MANA of 5, an armor stat of 1 , a health stat of 3 and a speed stat of 3. It is a MELEE Attack card and also belongs to the WATER element category. Both cards are CONCLAVE ARCANA cards as you can see in the green symbol on the down left corner of the cards. The second card SWAMPWROUGHT belongs to the ELEMENTAL bloodline. It is a MAGIC Attack card that also possesses a special ability. It has a MANA of 5 also and falls under the EARTH element category. The card has an armor stat of 2, a health stat of 4 and a speed stat of 2. I am yet to use them in a battle and I need more of these cards to level them up so they can bring out their full potential during battles. Mere looking at them, there look like cards that are going to give me a good outcome that will be determined by the way I position them. Before tomorrow I should have used them to fight battles and will do well to give you guys feedback. 😊 I’ll be playing some games tonight before going to bed and hopefully will be using them to win a couple battles.
