Splinterlands 8th Anniversary Promo Sale to Commence August 8th

I trust you all had a blissful Taco Tuesday? Mine was quite hectic cos I’ve been working since morning even though it was successful in the end. I’m glad my full day of working was not in vain. Today has also been a rainy day over here but I’m hopeful it’s gonna shine tomorrow atleast so the weather can be a bit warmer. Earlier this noon, I claimed my daily streak reward in the wheelspin section of the FRONTIER league. Today is my day 40 on the streak but I know it’s my second month since the streak count commenced cos the counter got reset after one month. I stopped by earlier at noon to fight some battles in the MODERN league and had increased my GLINT balance to 6390 after winning a couple battles. With just a few GLINT I’ll have a total balance of 50,000 GLINT and that’s a good one for me. My total balance is currently at 49,488 so wish me luck guys. I’m still in the BRONZE I Tier in the league with 900 ranking points , with more 100 points I’ll be in the Silver league. So I later played in the FRONTIER league where I was able to win up to 5 battles and got to claim my daily reward for the day which contained four foundation cards and two entries into the weekly FORTUNE draws.

My rewards for today were all COMMON unit cards and they are the DIRE BEAR, the GRAND CONSUL MINION, the DREAD TAFARIAN and the WILHELMDALE DEPUTY. While on Discord today, I came across an announcement made by BlazeKoS where he mentioned that the Splinterlands 8th Anniversary Promo Sale will be live from the 8th of August. This is good news for the team and we the community members. It means that we are in the season of celebrations. He added that two fresh limited time cards which are called the Neutral Dragonkin Promo cards will be added and the sale will be taking place for 30 days. The cards are called Tenrai, an Epic promo card which will cost $0.88 for each card while the second one is called Suiko, a LEGENDARY promo card that will cost $8.88 for each card. He then went on to add that a Special GOLD foil , ARCANE Foil, BLACK foil and FORTUNE draws will hold after the sale event comes to an end. I will do well to purchase atleast one of these new cards before they are sold out. You can read the article below for more details on this development.
