The Recharge ability is one of the least visible and underrated in Splinterlands, and it's understandable, who is going to like to wait a turn to attack twice? At least, I don't, however this is one of those skills where you need a strategy to be effective, otherwise you'll just become an easy target, and possibly you won't even be able to attack. Luckily for you, I'm sure you are a skilled splinter, so in this post I'm going to show you the three cards that from my point of view are the best with this ability, and they are three legendary cards. Recharge is a new ability, and there are few cards that have it at level 1, in fact there are only 5 cards, but I have taken the path of excellence with Uriel the Purifier, Ifrit Rising and the gargoyle belonging to the dragons Zyvax Vuul, each of them has been strategically designed by the creative sphere of @splinterlands, who gave one melee attack, another magic attack, and the third ranged attack, so that's three basic ways we should learn to use these cards.

La habilidad de recargar es una de las menos vistosas e infravaloradas en Splinterlands, y es algo entendible, ¿a quien le va a gustar esperar un turno para atacar doble? Por lo menos, a mí no mucho, sin embargo esta es una de esas habilidades donde se necesita una estrategia si o si para que sea efectiva, de lo contrario solo te convertirás en un blanco fácil, y posiblemente ni puedas atacar. Para suerte tuya, estoy seguro que eres un splinter habilidoso, por lo que en este post te voy a mostrar las tres cartas que desde mi punto de vista son las mejores con esta habilidad, y son tres legendarias. Recargar es una habilidad nueva, y son pocas las cartas que la poseen en nivel 1, de hecho son 5 cartas solamente, pero he tomado el camino de la excelencia con Uriel the Purifier, Ifrit Risingy la gárgola perteneciente a los dragones Zyvax Vuul, cada una de ellas ha sido diseñada estratégicamente por la esfera creativa de @splinterlands, quien le dio a una ataque cuerpo a cuerpo, a otra ataque mágico, y a la tercera ataque a distancia, asi que son tres formas básicas de uso que debemos aprender para estas cartas.

This is a card with an adorable design, I love the idea of a winged knight in armor, using a sword and a book as battle weapons, it is really quite accurate all that encompasses the aesthetics of this character. On the other hand, Uriel comes equipped with a melee attack of 3 points of damage, 3 points of speed, a shield with 6 points of defense and 10 points of life, are quite acceptable statistics for a card at level 1. The only negative point in my opinion are its 11 mana, which are characteristic of this type of powerful cards, that makes it can not be used frequently in fights where mana is low, since usually in low mana battles the strategy used is worth more than a strong hit. At level 1, Uriel also has the flying ability, which increases the probability of dodging physical and ranged attacks from cards that do not have this ability, and if you have fought against flyers you know how difficult it is to defeat them. On the other hand, Uriel acquires at level 2 the healing ability, and at level 4 redemption, and currently has a price of $10 at level 1.
Esta es una carta con un diseño adorable, me encanta la idea de un caballero alado con armadura, usando una espada y un libro como armas de batalla, de verdad que es bastante acertado todo lo que engloba la estética de este personaje. Por otro lado, Uriel viene equipado con un ataque cuerpo a cuerpo de 3 puntos de daño, 3 de velocidad, un escudo con 6 puntos de defensa y 10 puntos de vida, son estadísticas bastante aceptables para una carta a nivel 1. El único punto negativo a mi parecer son sus 11 de mana, que son característicos de este tipo de cartas tan poderosas, eso hace que no pueda ser usada frecuentemente en combates donde el mana es bajo, ya que por lo general en las batallas de mana bajo la estrategia utilizada vale más que un golpe fuerte. En nivel 1, Uriel también posee la habilidad de volador, la cual le aumenta la probabilidad de esquivar ataques físicos y a distancia de cartas que no posean esta habilidad, y si haz luchado contra voladores sabes lo difícil que resulta derrotarlos. Por otro lado, Uriel adquiere en el nivel 2 la habilidad de curación, y en el nivel 4 redención, y actualmente tiene un precio de $10 en el nivel 1.

Uses and weak point / Usos y punto debil


This card should be used as a tank in the first position of the battlefield, since all his stats make him a difficult target to defeat, besides he will do 6 points of damage to the rival enemy, ideal to defeat them in one hit as long as they have destroyed his shield, otherwise his attack will be lost. The other way to use Uriel without hesitation is when the battle condition allows monsters with melee attack to attack from any position, there by placing it in a strategic condition it will be very difficult to defeat. Even so, every card has its weak point, and in the case of Uriel is magic, being placed in the first position is very vulnerable to magical attacks, in fact it can be easily defeated against Obsidian and his combo or against any other opponent that comes equipped with magic, also the ability of Giant Killer that Djinn Inferni has which doubles its attack against monsters that have 11 or more mana would make Uriel to be defeated without problems in only two attacks of this card belonging to the Splinter of fire.
Esta carta debe ser usada como un tanque en la primera posición del campo de batalla, ya que todas sus estadísticas le convierten en un objetivo difícil de derrotar, además que hará un daño de 6 puntos al enemigo rival, ideal para vencerlos de un solo golpe siempre y cuando le hayan destruido el escudo, de lo contrario se perderá su ataque. La otra forma de usar a Uriel sin dudarlo es cuando la condición de batalla permita que los monstruos con ataque cuerpo a cuerpo puedan atacar desde cualquier posición, allí colocándolo en una condición estratégica será muy difícil de derrotar. Aun asi, toda carta tiene su punto débil, y en el caso de Uriel es la magia, al ser colocado en la primera posición es muy vulnerable ante los ataques mágicos, de hecho puede ser vencido fácilmente contra Obsidian y su combo o contra cualquier otro rival que venga equipado con magia, también la habilidad de Giant Killer que posee Djinn Inferni la cual duplica su ataque contra monstruos que tengan 11 o más de mana haría que Uriel sea vencido sin problemas en solo dos ataques de esta carta perteneciente al Splinter de fuego.

Ifrit Rising (2).png

Ifrit is a card belonging to the fire splinter, I must confess that since I saw it for the first time I loved it, although at that time I did not know its ability, but we were all waiting for what it could do, and knowing it has become a very good card to use. Ifrit is one of the few magical additions to fire, that have helped in the balance of this splinter, as it is well known, in fire the physical attack is its main weapon, and with Tarsa that increases attack and life much more, therefore using Ifrit strategically can make the difference in difficult battles, However, its stats make it more usable in battles where mana is high, and this is because it has no defensive shield at any level, but it compensates with 7 health, 3 speed and 2 magic attack at its initial level. I honestly don't know why this card is legendary, as much as I analyze it I can't help but think it should be an epic card, but anyway, doubling the magic attack to 4 per attack can annihilate in one hit or at least weaken. Ifrit acquires another ability at his last level, this one is force field, with it he minimizes the damage of attacks that have power of 5 or more. The price in the market is $3.6 - 3.7 approximately, and makes it one of the cheapest legendaries that exist.
Ifrit es una carta perteneciente al Splinter de fuego, debo confesar que desde que la vi por primera vez me encanto, aunque para ese entonces no conocía su habilidad, pero todos estábamos a la expectativa sobre que podía hacer, y al saberlo se ha convertido en una carta muy buena para usar. Ifrit es una de las pocas adiciones mágicas al fuego, que han ayudado en el equilibrio de este splinter, como es bien sabido, en fuego el ataque físico es su principal arma, y con Tarsa que les sube ataque y vida mucho más, por lo tanto usar a Ifrit estratégicamente puede marcar la diferencia en batallas difíciles, sin embargo sus estadísticas hacen que se pueda usar más que todo en batallas donde el mana sea alto, y esto se debe a que no tiene escudo defensivo en ningún nivel, pero lo compensa con 7 puntos de vida, 3 de velocidad y 2 de ataque mágico en su nivel inicial. Honestamente no sé porque esta carta es legendaria, por más que la analizo no puedo dejar de pensar que debería ser una carta épica, pero en fin, doblar el ataque mágico a 4 por ataque puede aniquilar de un solo golpe o por lo menos debilitar. Ifrit adquiere otra habilidad en su último nivel, esta es campo de fuerza, con ella minimiza el daño de ataques que tengan potencia de 5 o más. El precio en el mercado es de $3.6 – 3.7 aproximadamente, y la convierte en una de las legendarias más económicas que existen.

Uses and weakness / Usos y punto debil


This card should be used in battles that require at least 30 mana, since it uses 8, and the ideal is to combine it with a summoner that adds 1 magic, that way its attack will increase to 6 per hit practically, added to that its most strategic position in my opinion is in the 4th place, that way it will be a little protected, remember that it attacks every two turns, so if it quickly reaches the first position it will be defeated easily. The biggest weakness is that it has no shield, it is not useful in the first positions, and not much if it faces an opponent who has the ability of precision, because in every turn it will be attacked wherever it is.
Esta carta debe ser usada en batallas que requieran 30 de mana como mínimo, ya que ella usa 8, y lo ideal es combinarla con un invocador que le suba 1 de magia, de esa forma su ataque subirá a 6 por golpe prácticamente, sumado a eso su posición más estratégica a mi parecer es en el 4to lugar, de esa forma será un poco protegida, recordemos que ataca cada dos turnos, por lo que si llega rápidamente a la primera posición será derrotada con facilidad. El mayor punto débil es que no tiene escudo, no sirve en las primeras posiciones, y tampoco mucho si se enfrenta a un rival que posea la habilidad de precisión, ya que en cada turno la atacaran este donde este.

Zyvax Vuul (2).png

The last card of our selection is a gargoyle that belongs to the Dragon splinter, I particularly love the design of the card, the colors, the look, the pose, everything is very nice and well balanced. Zyvax Vuul has 8 life, as well as 8 mana, 3 points of speed and 2 ranged attack, which with the ability in question rises to 4 per hit every two turns. The best thing about this card in my opinion at level 1 is its flying ability, that makes it a more difficult target to hit, that helps it to dodge while recharging to attack. At level 2 she gets the point blank ability, which allows her to attack from the first position, and that combined with the flying ability allows her to be a decent tank, finally, at level 4 she gets death blow, with it her attack is doubled, so she would be doing 12 damage only if there is only one enemy left, otherwise it doesn't activate. Its current cost is $3.6 - 3.7 in the market, a very affordable price.
La última carta de nuestra selección es una gárgola que pertenece al splinter Dragón, particularmente me encanta el diseño de la carta, los colores, la mirada, la pose, todo es muy agradable y bien equilibrado. Zyvax Vuul posee 8 de vida, asi como también 8 de mana, 3 puntos de velocidad y 2 de ataque a distancia, que con la habilidad en cuestión sube a 4 por golpe cada dos turnos. Lo mejor que tiene esta carta a mi parecer en nivel 1 es su habilidad de volador, eso la convierte en un blanco más difícil de golpear, eso le ayuda a esquivar mientras recarga para atacar. En el nivel 2 obtiene la habilidad de quemarropa, la cual le permite atacar desde la primera posición, y eso combinado con la habilidad de volador le permite ser un tanque decente, por último, en el nivel 4 obtiene golpe mortal, con ella su ataque se duplica, por lo que estaría haciendo 12 de daño solo si queda un único enemigo, de lo contrario no se activa. Su costo actual es de $3.6 - 3.7 en el mercado, un precio muy accesible.

Uses and weaknesses / Usos y punto debil


Being a ranged attacker, the position to place is in the last if you do not have it at level 2, remember that it has no shield but the ability to fly, ideally it should attack until it can no longer do so, even so I think the most optimal condition for this card is in earthquake, real blow and when you can attack from the first position, are the most favorable. As a weak point, it is an easy target for cards that have precision combined with magic attack, so if you notice that your opponent is using these monsters do not use the Gargoyle because you will not be able to take advantage of it.
Al ser un atacante a distancia, la posición a colocar es en las ultimas si no la tienes en nivel 2, recuerda que no tiene escudo pero si la habilidad de volador, lo ideal es que ataque hasta que ya no pueda hacerlo, aun asi pienso que la condición más óptima para esta carta es en terremoto, golpe real y cuando pueda atacar desde la primera posición, son las más favorables. Como punto débil, es un blanco fácil para las cartas que poseen precisión combinado con ataque mágico, por lo tanto si notas que tu rival viene usando estos monstruos no uses la Gárgola porque no la podrás aprovechar.

Uriel is a beast, especially if he's backed by monsters that constantly repair his armor, and heal him repeatedly. I agree with your take of its front-line advantage compared to Ifrit Rising who needs a buffer, and Zyvax Vuul who needs a buffer unless a short-range rule set allows him to attack from first position. Great article on the legendary rechargers. Do you have any thoughts on the lower-level rechargers?

That's right my friend, with armor repairers and healers Uriel can be a real headache, and even more so because of his flying ability that also increases his chance of dodging physical and ranged attacks.

As for the lower level rechargers only one card seems useful to me, and it is the following one:

This card is good to use in battles where the condition is low mana or inverse speed, and if we combine it with Delwyn that raises one of magic or Lorna that gives the divine shield we could attack with 4 or protect it a little more depending on the summoner we use.

The rest I don't see a good use for it

I'm guessing the image is Temporal Master. Apologies, image files aren't loading on my hive account right now. I haven't used Temporal Master as much I'd like but I can see him being useful in the rule sets you described. I need to use him and Dax Paragon more often in low mana battles.
