Happy New Year 2024 Holozing Community | Digital watercolor fan art

Happy New Year healers!

To all the Holozing community I wish you a happy 2024, may this new year be full of many blessings. To the Holozing project my best vibes, to my friend and founder @acidyo I hope he can continue developing the Holozing game and that each of the goals set for this wonderful game are fulfilled and that we can enjoy it in this new year, that it becomes a door to bring new users to our beloved blockchain. To my friend @kstreet, curator of the community I hope he continues doing an excellent job as he has been doing, best regards.

I celebrate the end of the year 2023 with a fan art, a digital watercolor made in Photoshop, I hope you like it.

Next I leave you each one of the steps

To begin with, the first thing I did was to create an empty canvas, then I added a pastel background color, although not very light. After that I created a new empty layer and made some strokes to prepare the simulation of the brushstrokes later on, I painted them in strong orange to create contrast. Then I made the image, for that I used the initial starters and grouped them in the way I thought best, once ready I placed the message of happy new year 2024 and placed the image on the background previously created to work on it.

Once here I started to apply filters. Photoshop's smart filters can bring spectacular results, for that you have to understand how each one of them works or at least have a notion of how they work. In my case I have experience creating digital watercolors, that's why I decided to make this one. The filters I used were Shading, Quartetting, Mask focus, Dry brush and reticulation. In each one the process was to play with the values and based on the result I was getting I could leave them like that or keep playing with them until I got the expected result for this art.

Once the filters were finished I had to change the opacity and blend of each one of them. I did this to superimpose one with the other and so I could have a good result in the main image. Here it is all subjective, there is no specific formula or a single value, the result is to the liking of the artist, in this case me, so I was playing with each one of them until I got what I wanted.

Then come the final touches, and this is where we play with the brush strokes, again it is subjective. Finally I added several layers to give the final results of the watercolor.

Let's take a closer look at the details of the watercolor on each of the characters.

As you can see, the watercolor is very colorful and eye-catching, each character acquires a different tonality but pleasant since it does not change its original essence and color. Here is the final result, I hope you like it.

Me alegra que te haya gustado, la acuarela digital regala muy buenos tonos y detalles, aunque pienso que la tradicional lo hace más, pero allí si no soy muy diestro jaja.

Saludos y feliz año nuevo 😎
